I stayed at the camp for 6 days, and I can easily describe it as the highlight of my Jordan trip. The host, Sabbah, is a friendly local Bedouin with unparalleled knowledge and also quick wit and humour. He took me around the desert, in the caves, for small hikes, showed me all the important sites, and cooked for us local delicacies. The campsite is truly surreal with an amazing backdrop of the mountains. At night, you can see the sky full of stars; it is truly unbelievable how starlit the sky is. Honourable mentions: the local tea (I think I am addicted to tea now). The local tea is the tastiest thing I've ever had. 10/10 would recommend! (: Hope to stay there soon, again!

我們在瓦迪拉姆保護區營地待了三晚，很愛這裏。我們選擇了兩日的徒步行程，因為我們想步行體驗沙漠的的廣闊。那裡非常壯觀，默罕默德是個很棒的嚮導。回到營地過夜，享受大餐，睡在帳篷裏，一切都很很棒。對我們而言，額外付費睡在帳篷裏很值得，給了我們對於沙漠更好的感受。這是一次在約旦的難忘的旅行，而瓦迪拉姆保護區營地佔據了這次經歷的很大一部分。我愛攀登巖石，以及行走跨越一些橋……

My buddy and I were looking for an absolute adventure and an escape from the wild world of today full of stress and people, so we booked an overnight tour with Mohammed hoping to experience this and it was absolutely outstanding!!!! This was one of the most incredible days of our lives for us, Mohammed invites you into a world you hardly believe exists. Breathtaking nature, full of great stories - it all seems magical. Mohammed is a great guy, very polite, hospitable and an excellent cook - his food tasted great and it was 100% authentic Bedouin food, incredible! It was so cool to drive around with Mohammed in the jeep (on the roof!) - he shows you the best places in Wadi Rum and it feels super exclusive because there are not 15 people like the other tours - it was just me and my buddy. 10/10 would love to do it again!

I had an amazing time in the desert with Mohammed! I booked the cave and a jeep tour and it was an unforgetable experience! We saw many beautiful places, did hiking and watched the sunset from a sunset spot with a beautiful view! Oh and the food! The food is the best!!! The night at the cave was so special. Mohammed told us a Lot of stories and I saw the stars and full moon while falling asleep. Mohammed is very generous, friendly and helpful. You should definitely choose to do the Wadi Rum experience with Wadi Rum protected area camp.

Our jeep tour in the desert was amazing, but the thing we loved the most was the traditional dinner and the evening we spent with Mohammed, drinking tea and telling stories around the fire. You can really experience the calm of the Bedouin life. For sure the best memory we have of our trip to Jordan. You can't miss it!
