While we didn't hate our time at NRMA SWR, we won't be staying here again. - poor location, not on any waterways, short 5 min drive to beach, town, shops, fishing areas - poor privacy in cabins, you either need to have your blinds down throughout the day or put up with your neighbours being able to look straight into your cabin, not alot of tree coverage between cabins. Blinds also don't block out alot of light. - cabins are definitely dated - outdoor setting would be handy - the little wall mount air con struggles to heat entire cabin, bedrooms can get very hot - cabin was quite dirty, baby was crawling around on the floor and had black stuff all over her knees and clothes. Floor clearly wasn't mopped. We put one of the big blankets down for her to crawl on, and there was big black hairs all over it. So the blankets clearly don't get washed either. We ended up mopping the floor ourselves. - we asked for a porta-cot which cost us $15 for 4 nights, the bottom of the cot had mould all over it, so we didn't use it . - it's a Mosquito haven, take your aeroguard! Negatives out of the way. - nice big TV in cabin, and a small TV in the main bedroom - has a Cafe on-site where you can get breakfast and lunch (we only got coffee) and a little on the pricey side. - great park for little kids, with a great pirate ship pool with 3 slides - tennis court - outdoor cinema - games room - putt putt golf
