We recently stayed here for 2 night on March 24th, standard room and as expected fairly basic but clean....breakfast good and plentiful BUT the after customer service has been none existent although I have rung on numerous occasions leaving messages and emailed three different addresses...NONE have been answered. Everything was fine until we arrived home to find a charge of £20 had been taken of our debit card for no reason....all we want is to be told what this is for and for it to be refunded........someone must be looking at emails and occasionally answering the phone..........not impresses.

We're to start have been before last year no problems , decided to book again for Oct 23 due to bad weather and roads and hotel closed we couldn't use our booking , I contacted hotel and I asked could I use it another time and was told yes I had till end May 24 to use , the diary wasn't open till begging of this year , they messaged when diary was open I gave my dates had no reply after endless emails and trying to phone hotel which was the wrong number given still no response , it took for me me to contact them on a dfferent email address for the post advertising for staff , answered weeks later and told me the dates were fully booked asked about another date and again I'm still waiting on a reply I'm so disappointed in there lack of communication and now don't want to go back there and trying to get a refund for unused services is going to be so difficult as they don't reply to any emails

We stayed just the Saturday and I wish they had mentioned that there would be music in the grill house connected to the hotel banging away all evening. Our room looked over the grill bar which was fine till there was children screaming all evening under our window plus this loud music beating away for hours. Definitely not expecting this and we had travelled a long way stopping here over night to continue our journey next day. The room we thought we would be getting was looking over the front garden which would have been away from the noise, but hay ho we know not to stop there again.

Would have been more stars if they didn't keep running out of food! As a diabetic, this was totally unacceptable, male waiter most aloof and unhelpful. Couldn't even get a sandwich or slice of toast as he was busy tending an empty room!

We arrived at 7pm or thereabouts met by a pleasant young female then down hill from there. She asked us if we were going to have something to eat we said that would be good what does the restaurant have too offer Well Baked potatoes with beans em and cheese if you wanted Oh thinking we will leave it Got to the rooms which are an annex attached to the side off the original house. They were clean and beds were comfortable but looked tired especially handles on the doors and woodwork. The en-suite was nice but the electric shower had no water pressure. Decided not to have breakfast considering the thought that they had a restaurant but offered us baked potatoes only 🤦♂️ Would ℹ recommend this house hotel highly unlikely

Room 4 saved this weekend. ..ok few issues with taps but on the whole big spacious comfy room. However, it goes down hill from there. Realise there are staffing issues...but service was minimal - although staff themselves friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty if served at a glacial pace..we had to factor in an hour every morning... Glacial would describe the room temperature. Had to dress for the outdoors in the room. !! Tables and chairs really uncomfortable. Cleanliness was questionable. Dinner was poor. Steak pie and oven chips no veg...and pasta with a tasteless Bolognese..... Thank god for the beach -it made the rest bearable. Way overpriced and under managed -- at every point.Down at heel and tired hotel in desperate need of a rethink.

It’s nearly 5 months since we were there but I really don’t have anything good to say about it. The farm shop sold No or very little farm produce. The field next to the campsite is full of scrap farming equipment.The beach had lots of dead birds on it possibly Avian flu.? This was reported, the toilet pot washing block leaves a lot to be desired.

This is just the best wee site and so handy for the beach. There is nothing fancy but we had everything we needed and had a great time. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and a nice wee cafe on site and pub round the corner.

The rooms were extremely clean. The shower space is a bit cramped up. The kitchen closes at 8PM. Some staff members are not very helpful, a bit rude in gestures and expressions. The breakfast was decent - it was supposed to be a buffet, but instead, they took orders at the table, which was disappointing as there was only one lady taking orders and brining food - maybe she was working alone in the kitchen too.
