It was a clean and safe place of lodging. Breakfast was satisfactory. Pool was closed for the season.

Check in was rough. Front desk person was very cold. She definitely acted like she would rather be somewhere else. She finished checking us in, gave us no property information or said thank you. We had to ask if we were done with check in. No direction to the elevator or info about the free breakfast.
Got to our room and it was 54 degrees inside. Heater didn’t work so I called down and told her the issue. No apology. Just a “it’s no problem” and said she would give us another room. Went down and found the room key on the counter. That’s it.
New room was clean. WiFi did not work. Toilet was clogged after first flush. Sink wouldn’t drain. Called down and she said there was no maintenance people there on a Saturday. We were staying 3 nights. On the second night, I requested more towels. Went downstairs to grab them and “all they had were 2”. So strange to me. Wife told me I’m no longer allowed to make our hotel reservations when we go out of town LOL.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was good, all items were individually packed. Employees put a lot of effort into making sure everything was up to the mark.

I am not one to complain but my room was a health hazard. We had BLACK MOLD on the ceilings surrounding an area where there was clearly water damage above my bed. Because the hotel was full for High Point furniture market they were booked could not move me us into another room. The sad part is they would not reimburse us to stay at another hotel that was safe. The front desk associate could do nothing about it and when she tried to reach out to the owner or GM, they basically said they didn’t care. We could leave, but we would not be reimbursed. This is really sad as it’s not just me being dissatisfied due to a dirty room, black mold is toxic and has long-term terrible health effects. We left and booked rooms at a different hotel. We had to eat the cost 2 rooms which was around 700.00 due to busy weekend and then spent more money for another room at different hotel…Stay away from this property!!!

Nice facility, back behind other properties so very quiet. Nice staff, decent breakfast, overall good place. We come to HP area often for family, will stay here again.

I did not use the room because my sister (who the room was for) got sick and was unable to travel and I was unable to cancel so I paid for a room that I did not use which was very disappointing.
