I visited on a trip. I wanted to stay at a Parador, but I couldn't afford it if it was too expensive, so I chose this Parador.
The facilities were perfect. The toilet and bath were very clean.
The best thing was the view from the room. It offers sweeping views of 'The European Countryside'. When you check in, you can change to a room with a beautiful view for +40€, so I recommend that (I think it would be better if you could do it at the time of booking, but if the room is available on the day will handle it).
The front staff was fluent in English. They kindly responded to my broken English.
Finally, we recommend that you include breakfast if you have time in the morning. There is also a buffet, but I personally recommend the cafe menu where you can eat while watching the scenery on the terrace. I was able to make a reservation at the front desk the night before.
Overall it was a very satisfying hotel. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed our stay. Hotel very nice. Clean, well kept generally. Only let down was reception staff, they were not forthcoming with information, not only on check in , but overall.

Poder contemplar y casi tocar una esplenda torre neoclásica desde la habitación es algo fuera de serie. El Parador está situado en la plaza del Cabildo en la parte más alta del pueblo con una ubicación y vistas al río Guadalete extraordinarias. Es un edificio del año 64 del arquitecto José Luis Picardo que siendo muy recogido, cuenta con un patio andaluz con mucho encanto. La amabilidad del personal es exquisita.

Altes Parador an sehr guter Lage in Arcos mit sehr gutem Frühstück. Arcos ist schöner Ort. Ideal ist, dass man das Auto im Parkhaus eingangs des Ortes einstellt und mit einem kleinen Gepäck im Parador logiert. Wer gut zu Fuss ist, kann das Hotel in 15 Min erreichen. Es geht auch ein kleiner Bus oder Taxis ins Städtchen. Mit dem eigenen Wagen in den engen Gassen zu fahren, ist nicht empfehlenswert. Zurzeit ist eine Baustelle vor dem Haus. Es hat wirklich keine Parkplätze. Die Baustelle hat uns nicht gestört. Mit dem Bus kann man sehr gut und sehr günstig nach Jerez fahren.

De parador is een heerlijk hotel. Niet te groot en leuk ingericht. De wat duurdere kamers hebben een geweldig uitzicht. Hetzelfde uitzicht waar je vanaf het terras en vanuit het restaurant ook van kunt genieten. De medewerkers zijn uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het enig wat lastig is, is parkeren. Wij kwamen via Google Maps bij de derde verschillende poging bij het hotel na ook nog een aantal zeer nauwe bochten genomen te hebben (spiegels ingeklapt). In de stad vindt je op het laatste moment pas de verwijsbordjes naar de Parador. Parkeren kan in de ruime parkeergarage in het centrum (10 - 15 minuten lopen). Je kunt ook met een busje. Heen gaat dat snel, maar terug cirkel je door heel veel straten van Arcos. Maar ondanks dit zeker de moeite waard om te overnachten.

After visiting Paradores de Cadiz and Nerja we decided to go for Paradores de Arcos de la Frontera, since We were so pleased with everything, delicious food, Nice rooms and excellent service! What a Huge mistake! The room was ok - but dinner! The worst dinner ever in Spain. We had halfboard for two dags. My husband sent back his main course ,uneatable meat, day two and it was replaced by another dish, pasta, completely tasteless. A dish composed of avocado and beetroot was way to sour and a dish of fish, no taste and not fresh. To pay for such bad food?? We advise visitors not to have dinner at this Parador. And we Do not know of We dare to go for a fourth Paradores. So disappointed
