Non vorrei fare il bastian contrario alle recensioni che ho letto prima della mia, ma consapevole che la boutique hotel si trova in un palazzo del 1560, centralissimo e confermando quasi tutto quello letto, devo avvisare i futuri ospiti che la stanza che ci è stata assegnata era molto piccola ( ma me lo aspettavo). Quello che non sapevo è che la stanza sembrava un loculo, senza finestre, ma solo con la porta di entrata finestrata . Era impossibile però tenerla aperta perché saremmo stati alla mercé degli altri ospiti visto che la porta da su un cortile del bar. Siamo stati costretti a tenere sempre accese le luci artificiali.Altro piccolo appunto, la seconda sera si sono dimenticati di fare l’ housekeeping per cui ho dovuto sollecitarlo alla reception. Servizio ristorante perfetto, colazione non da hotel a 5 stelle. Manca anche una sala dove poter stare al chiuso ma solo tavolini del bar. Per fortuna ad Arequipa non piove quasi mai…

Hotel boutique de cinco estrellas. Servicio excelente y personalizado con una experiencia culinaria muy excepcional. Queda a una cuadra de la plaza de armas y muchos restaurantes. Nos encantó el hotel con una arquitectura muy única en lo que era antes un monasterio. Los cuartos son muy grandes y acogedores. El servicio fue excelente y nos sentimos muy complacidos con la estadía. Espero regresar!! Gracias en particular a Antonio por la experiencia culinaria!!

Arrival was efficient and we were led to a wonderful outdoor courtyard to have some welcome drink whilst the room was given the final preparation. Shortly thereafter we were brought to a very nicely furnished room in the old monastery. The room had all necessary amenities and was very nicely decorated. The outdoor courtyard was a pleasant and relaxing area to chill. The dinner served in the main dining room was tasty and the staff very helpful and friendly. A very nice hotel and definitely one to come back to when in the area.

hotel de alta calidad en Arequipa. Todo de excelente en atención del staff y calidad, en especial los alimentos. También la localización es excelente. Usamos los servicios de excursión al Colca y fue hecho con mucho esmero y atención. Tanto el chofer Nahuel como la Guía Araceli fueron muy profesionales y principalmente preocupados en atender bien y en la seguridad del huésped.

This hotel is truley amazing. Beauty, elegance, historical, incredible food, luxurious rooms, great location, and a staff that is truly special. David in the restaurant was so kind and gracious as was all the restaurant staff. Staying in a structure that is 500+ years old that has been modernized to luxurious standards is truly special. The spa service was also outstanding. Thank you for a wonderful relaxing massage. I thoroughly enjoyed it. We would recommend this high end hotel to all seeking a memorable experience. This hotel was highly recommended by our agent, Wimeya as boutique and a little different and for us, it worked beautifully for a number of reasons. The location is outstanding and there is no other luxury option that is such an easy short walk to the many attractions of the beautifully preserved and atmospheric colonial centre. Arequipa itself was something of a revelation at the end of a 3 week Peru trip- enchanting old town, magical volcano and mountain surroundings and no altitude issues! The room was a bit quirky to get used to at first, but after half an hour we settled in easily and our air con also started struggling on our second night- so that is clearly something management need to stay on top of. Some food options were not as good, but we did have a seafood tagliatelle that was probably our most enjoyable meal of the whole Peru trip. The atmosphere around the fire pits in the open air bar restaurant and the truly fantastic sunset pisco sours on the highest terrace bar in the Plaza de Armas drew down a very fitting curtain to a memorable trip

This spot is amazing. We stayed there for three nights. The room was so cozy and well designed. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast was delicious. If you have a half board plan, you can either choose lunch or dinner. The dinner we had were outstanding. Complimentary snacks and drinks hamper. To stay there was an incredible experience. We can highly recommend it.

The staff and service were 5 star. The design and accommodations were 5 star. The food was 5 star. Checkin was rough because the hotel was not aware that we were staying more than one night. The hotel was also not aware we had bought a package online that included meals, transfers, and activities. We had to prove these items from an email confirmation. Also one of our room’s air conditioning systems malfunctioned and spilled water all over the room the first night. We received only a $10 credit for this massive inconvenience.
