My husband and I stayed here a few times, a number of years ago, when the hotel was then called windmill studios and back then loved the place. This time it's a hotel and my word, the place is even better. The rooms and service are as good as ever, but the breakfast was just outstanding! We ate most days lunch at the pool bar, and everything is made/cooked to a high standard. Our only gripe is the cost of drinks could be a euro or so cheaper, but to be fair, they are good quality drinks, and the bar staff were so lovely. We would not hesitate to return, such a peaceful setting.

25/9-9/10 2023, lovely relaxing 2 week stay at the windmill Hotel. Easy transfer from the airport. Quickly booked in and shown to our room ground floor garden over looking the pool. 451 adjacent to the bar with direct stepped access to the garden and pool area- perfect Plenty of hot water and brilliant water pressure in the shower Perfect to have a fridge and a small kitchen area. Housekeeping every day thank you girls. Breakfast excellent, more choice than we expected. The ladies in the dining area were so happy and cheerful. We were not expecting cooked items - bacon fried eggs mushrooms etc Massive choice of continental breakfast items the Greek yogurt with raisins walnuts and honey is to die for Great coffee machine too. Bar staff especially Denise were lovely and friendly. Weekly Greek evening is a great experience. We ate there on 2 occasions food excellent Pool area was a little busy with beds being taken early, but we always managed to get a slot there is Free access to sun-beds at the restaurant across the road on the waters edge if you fancy a change. A lovely Family owned hotel with good standards friendly staff Resort is typical of the area, many excellent restaurants and bars to while away your evenings we ate in a different taverna for 12 of our 14 night stay No real beach areas, unless you take a free bus to bananas beach Prices we thought were on par with the uk Overall we had a wonderfully relaxing time Great hotel friendly staff and owners, Well worth considering

Whilst staying in resort last year, we were recommended this hotel. We arrived around 9pm on 25th September, first impression looking good, shown to our room (323), nice furniture in the bedroom, asked if it was a sunny balcony, advised we could move in the morning if we did not like, next morning took a look at the balcony, very dark and cramped, the bathroom had had new tiles, but he bath, was strange, as it was not level, we considered it a hazard, we did move rooms (thank you Jennie), but in consideration that we had booked in October 2022 and we're staying for 16 nights, we would have expected a much better room, so that took the shine off it. No one came to ask if we were happy with the room, we just got a call to the room to ask if we had moved and could they have the key back!! SUN BEDS most previous comments said there was never as issue getting a bed, we obviously arrived on the wrong week!! towels were on beds pre 7.45am, utter chaos, it was day 12 of our holiday before we could get a bed. There were signs up asking for towels not to be put down, as they would be removed, it was never policed?!! we decamped to the Marie Mare, where it was much more civilised. Breakfast, this was very good and always replenished, lots of choices. Housekeeping, again this was was very good, clean towels everyday, beds made, changedand a regular basis, bins emptied. The snack bar was good. There were a lot if return visitors (who probably bagged the beds), we did get the feeling that the regulars were more thought of. To us every customer is important. All in all we did have a lovely time, woulld return if a bargain was to be had. Met some fabulous people (especially the Barnsley girls) To anyone going to Argassi, who did not visit this year the prices in restaurants have certainly gone up, last year a Greek salad was 5 euro, this year 9 euro, Kalamaki was slightly less. We visited Crete in June, much cheaper

This was my 2nd year staying here. Lovely place to stay, staff are amazing, Denise who works in the bar is lovely and nothing is to much trouble for her. My only criticism is the breakfast, the bacon was not even proper bacon and the sausage was tiny like hot dog sausage with notmuch taste, everything else was great. Location is good, close to everything.

The hotel itself is nice and clean Not enough sun-beds for all guest staying They say a no towel policy to reserve beds but do not enforce it Lovely bars and taverna all within walking distance Staff are nice and polite but the morning receptionist is rather rude and ignorant needs a dose of happiness All in all nice break would I come back most probably yes

Great hotel, unfortunately second day of holiday fel down and broke my foot, they couldn't do enough for me the arranged for me to be picked up and taken to hospital then when I came back moved me to a room with walk in shower and arranged for a shower chair for me, enquired after me everyday and one of the cleaning ladies was soooo sweet with a hug everyday she saw me. Rooms were nice and big plenty of storage, yes would definitely stay again😁

We have been coming to Argassi now for 14 years, and this was our first time staying at the Windmill Hotel, and it certainly won't be our last, already booked for next year. What a welcome we had, we arrived for our Weddiing Anniversary and to celebrate my Husbands Birthday, we were shown to our room by the lovely receptionist, and we had a fabulous view over the pool and sea, and as I looked there was a bottle of prosecco and a lovely card from Jenny wishing us a Happy Anniversary, and the towels were set out as two swans with fresh flowers all around them, it was a beautiful touch, the room was spacious, and plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, which is what I loved, I know there were only two of us, but I loved the space we had to move around, the room was spotless, the breakfast amazing, so much choice, beds were very comfortable, as my husband suffers with a bad back after an operation and he was very comfortable. When it was my husbands birthday Jenny had the most delicious birthday cake made for him, again another lovely touch, there is not a bad thing you can say about the Windmill, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome, Jenny was around asking if we were ok and if everything was alright, which was a lovely touch, all the Staff were amazing and so helpful, can't wait to be back. Thank you to everyone at the Windmill for making our stay so special.
