Admiral Hotel – All Inclusive

An overall amazing experience with fantastic customer service. Lovely staff, polite and attentive throughout our stay and made sure felt as cosy as possible. Price were affordable and the hotel was equipped with all the necessary facilities.

10 day break at the Admiral July 2023, we were across the road with a pool room. Rooms had been refurbished so we're lovely and modern but very small. Pool at the main hotel was small and water was warm not refreshing but temperatures were 35 degrees plus at the time. Good selection of food with the AI package. Nice hotel with plenty to do outside the hotel. Plenty of boat trips which were cheap and accessible in the travel companies in the little town. Have booked to go back in May.

This hotel is more of a 3 star than a 4 star. Some staff were very good but others were extremely rude. A big shout out to “Mike” the bar chap. The hotel room was okay, bathroom needs refurbishing, very old and outdated, taps hanging of the bath, grout out of the floor tiles and the tiles move. Food was cold most of the time, only one juice available in the restaurant for breakfast, food got very repetitive. Stones under the sunlounger are not pleasant. No entertainment at the hotel in the evenings was very poor, spent every evening getting taxis to other parts of Zante. Lots of bars and restaurants near the hotel. Hotel location not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Swim up rooms are a waste of money as they are not connected to the main pool and shared with 2 other rooms. Wouldn’t return back unfortunately.

We visited on October. It was a paradise of calmness and serenity. It had light Enterteinment only at nights and greek night was the best. A huge variety of food and drinks and high quality as well. Staff service superb and always at your disposal. Definitely we will go back!!!!

We visited the hotel at the end of September as a couple. The moment we arrived we got some very pleasant welcome drinks. We were then shows to our room where a small surprise was waiting for us. Champagne, fruits and cake. I had emailed before to request for something as it was my partners birthday. I’m general the food was amazing and the staff as well. Everything we requested or wanted the staff and management was there for us all the time. It’s really lovely hotel for everyone wanting to relax and enjoy the all inclusive. It has light entertainment only 5 times per week which is enough and great for the night. As it was from 9-11 pm. I highly recommend it and of course we will be back for another unique experience!!!!

Hotel had no entertainment what so ever , even though we were handed a sheet on arrival telling us what was on each evening !! we were in a room over looking the pool ,good size room with balcony . down side for us booming music from morning until 11pm at night non stop and very loud !! from large speakers around the pool. Could be heard inside room . Bedding and towels were nice and clean, bed was like sleeping on a board so very hard. Lovely staff did not see a Tui rep all the time we were there, no notices up for flight returns . Maids came in everyday the toilet was cleaned and bathroom sink , floors were mopped ,a bottle of water was left everyday ,very strange bed making Even though the hotel has had a make over, it still needs finishing off ie bathrooms . Food was what you expect from a all inclusive good choice and plenty of it Hotel was also a walk near by to plenty shops and bars ,would not stay here again .

We are due to fly out on the 12th for 7 days and we received an email to say the hotel is to close early. I’m sorry what? 6 days before what kind of notice is this? Absolute joke! Looking forward to a relaxing getaway and you’ve made it anything but.

We’ve just stayed for one week at the Admiral Hotel and overall we really enjoyed our stay. It was what we wanted from a relaxed, quiet break. The good bits: - Recently renovated so hotel looks nice and new - Nice big room - Quiet during our visit as the hotel was winding down for the season - Staff all very pleasant and friendly - Food of good quality, cooked and presented well - Comfy sun beds both at our swim up pool and at the main pool - Drinks good The not so good bits -Personal preference but we found the beds and pillows hard -Swim up room only had sun for 2 ish hours a day, some swim up rooms and rooms with a private pool don’t get any sun so we felt lucky! - Food did get extremely repetitive after approx day 4, we skipped a couple of meals due to this - Bathrooms need some attention, silicone around bath going black and leaking water through the wall to the main bedroom (plaster starting to swell and blow) - Swim up pool wasn’t cleaned during our stay and did look a bit grotty - Only one breakfast juice available throughout our whole stay - No option to keep our room on our last day even though the hotel was at least half empty, we were offered showers at the hotel up the road, hotel was terrible and no staff around to show us where to go. After finding the showers we discovered they didn’t actually work. This should be improved as doesn’t reflect well on Admiral. Overall 4/5, a lovely holiday but some improvements could be made.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. We were a bit dubious after the initial reviews, but it looks like most issues from earlier reviews have been resolved. We had a room with a private pool, which was pretty good. The main downside for people would be that this only got the sun from about 12:30 onwards, but we’re not sun worshippers so that worked for us. The pool was a bit cold, but still enjoyable. The room itself was nice, and larger than expected. The bathroom was fine but, as many have said, the shower has not been updated so wasn’t great. It was perfectly usable though, so didn’t cause any issues. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, although be aware that if they need to visit you, they’ll knock once and walk straight in. Very nearly had an awkward moment due to that. The main part of the hotel is clean and welcoming. The restaurant area is nice, some good views from one end, and the staff there are great. The food was nice, but like many all inclusive places it did get repetitive. No complaints though. All in all, we had a good week.
