I have stayed at a Quality Inn before but this one is beyond terrible!!! My daughter and I drove 4.5 hours to see my new grand daughter. We arrived around 7ish on a rainy cold Friday evening. We were in a hurry so dropped our bags and left to meet my new grand daughter. The smell of the indoor pool/hot tub chlorine or whatever other smells upset my stomach as well as my daughters just in the short time we were there to check in. We went to my in-laws to meet the new grandbaby & have dinner. I called the motel to let them know I wasn't sure if we could stay because the chlorine smell had upset our stomachs so badly. Told her we were grabbing a bite to eat and we come back in a bit to discuss options. She said no problem. About an hour & a half later the motel called us and she was asking where we were. I told her we would be back shortly to talk. All of sudden I hear a mans voice say, WE HAVE REMOVED YOUR BELONGINGS, THEY ARE IN THE LOBBY. YOU HAVE 10 MINUTES TO GET BACK OR YOUR THINGS WILL BE THROWN OUT! Excuse me??!!! We hurried back! I tried talking to them and telling them I was not trying to offend them. They wouldn't even speak. Asked where our belongings were and they looked at us like we were stupid and said in your room. Offered no resolution!!!! I have got to tell you I have NEVER EVER been treated like this at a motel/hotel!!!! Cannot get refunded because it was non-refundable but what were we supposed to do when treated like that and basically kicked out!!!!?? THANK GOODNESS FOR THE HOTEL NEXT DOOR!!!! Finally got settled in around 10:15pm!! CHECK ALL REVIEWS FROM NOW ON! I SURE WILL BE!!!
