Awesome apartment block. It's a block of apartments; not a hotel. There's no daily cleaning or anything. You can buy things to cook as the kitchen is stocked. There's an Amazon store on the ground floor to buy basics. The building has a gym and an awesome roof terrace with a pool in the summer.

Had a fantastic stay! I like the design and set up. Appliances are in fantastic conditions. All staff in Placemark were very friendly and above and beyond.This became my go-to if I come to DC again.

What a gem in the middle of Ballston! Beautiful views, great location, top notch amenities. In particular, Derrick at the check in desk went above and beyond to make my stay very comfortable - would definitely stay there again.

Comfy stay. Apt has everything you need. The premises are a bit dated, but not a dealbreaker.

Overall, it was pretty good. The restroom was initially blocked, but someone was sent to fix it immediately.
The location is excellent; you can take the subway into downtown Washington, D.C.
The staff at the counter were friendly, and the environment was pleasant. I recommend it to other users.

I was very satisfied with the hotel's location; it was convenient for transportation. I was there for a graduation ceremony, and the service, cleanliness, and environment were all excellent. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I come to DC.

I'm a resident here. The location is perfect. The hotel staff are great. They are always helpful, friendly, and responsive to requests. In particular, Damonia stands out. She's always available for a short chat or recommendations. I've been attending the book club that she runs. It's been a good experience. We've read interesting books and had interesting discussions, and much of that is thanks to Damonia. It's been a great way to feel more like I'm part of a community. I appreciate all her time and effort.
