We had four families staying here for Spring Break. We chose this place because it was close to Six Flaggs, had a basketball court and indoor pool for the kids to play in. Court was great the first night, but second night was overloaded with a church group from the adjacent hotel, that they share the court with. No problem, so the kids can go in the pool, nope, it was freezing and indoor! Apparently the heater for the hot tub was broken, I assume it heats the pool too. On Wednesday we were told it would be fixed and still wasn’t on Saturday when we left. But at least we had the basketball court. First night our large group was able to hang out in the courtyard. Again fire pitt wasn’t working. And never got fixed while we were there. Last night was colder but there was enough room for us to spread out in the lobby. Snack for purchase area was good, they probably should have planned on stocking up since it was spring break for most of Texas. But kids could still find a few things. Breakfast, eggs every day, they were good. A different protein every day. Typical waffle maker, muffins, cereals, milk. No potatoes, and no fresh fruit. Fruit cups don’t count. That was a surprise. I’ve always seen bananas and apples at free breakfast buffets. Staff was nice. The guy there the first day, Joshua?, he was extremely nice, helpful, courteous, great guy. Two bedroom suite was great. Not new, not too old. Clean. Kitchen was stocked with a few things you may need. But bring large trash bags and dish soap for washing dishes if needed. Fridge has an ice maker. Beds were fairly comfortable. Pillows were all different types so you can hopefully find one you like. Location was great for restaurants and felt fairly safe. We would stay there again. Just hope the pool items were fixed.

I booked my room at this hotel because it's close to my job and winter weather was coming in. I don't have the luxury of ”ice days” off. I didn't want to get up extra early to drive all the way to work from my house. Interestingly enough, I did the same thing at another hotel chain nearby last year, and while I was on my way to the hotel, they called me to simply say my reservation was being cancelled. No reason given but I suspect they rented my room out from under me for a higher price. So I was somewhat worried this might happen here based on that experience. No such thing! I arrived at check-in and there were no problems. I booked a junior suite so I could relax and get a good night's sleep before getting up early for work. The guy that checked me in was polite and seemed apologetic that the only junior suite currently available was on the first floor. I told him that was perfect. Worked out better for me so I could quickly get out the side door and to my car since I knew I was going to have go in and out while warming it up and scraping off the ice. He also told me about the breakfast that's available at 6am, but I told him I would be out by 5. So I did not use any of the amenities. But the room was perfect. I walked in and it was clean and orderly. It was also nice and warm......very relaxing. I was able to settle in and relax while watching a little TV and then went to bed early so I could get a good night's sleep. I had no problems sleeping. The bed was comfortable and I didn't have any issues with noise from other guests. I wasn't here long since I left so early the next morning. But this was a life saver for me and made the workday much better. The price for the room was very reasonable in my opinion and the next time we get bad weather I won't hesitate to stay here again.

This has to be one, if not the worst run hotel in the metroplex! I for one will never stay at an IHG hotel again. Maria their maid assaulted me, cussed me out in a foreign language, last time I checked this is America, we speak English. Told me to f*** off, I told her to get an attorney on stand by if she even comprehended what I said, I don’t know. No towels or soap in room had to go get my own, no hot water in the shower, tv doesn’t work, fridge wasn’t plugged in, the list goes on & on. The back door with the handicapped ramp looks like it has never seen any kind of cleaning attention it’s entire lifetime. Bird s*** everywhere, nasty to even touch the door I was afraid I would catch the Rona. No coffee in the lobby last time I checked full breakfast should include coffee! 0 stars

The hotel was very clean and in a good location. Complimentary breakfast was available every day. However, I had some complaints about a side door being propped open with a wash towel compromising the security of all guests. I observed this breach of security twice. Furthermore, if you used the side door to exit, you couldn’t get back into the hotel because electronic key didn’t work. Management knew the lock needed a new battery, but they neglected to put in a new one for the three days I was there. That’s probably why someone was propping open the door and leaving the door unsecured. A second issue was a power failure that lasted about 14 hours. I agree that that problem was not their fault, but they wanted us to sleep in a cold room as the temperature outside was 38 degrees in the morning. We decided to leave hotel for the night. Through my own efforts, I was able to book another hotel. We were not the only guests who decided to leave the hotel. I feel as if the staff at least could have informed the guests of other hotels that would meet our needs . They expected us to stay in a cold and dark room. I was shocked that no manager seemed to be available to give any information about a power failure that lasted from the afternoon into 4 am in the morning.
