The small hotel is overall very good and the restaurant excellent. BEWARE - if you stay in The Master Suite (as we did) or at the front overlooking the sea, there are two nightclubs in very close proximity that often operate 11pm - 4pm many nights and on Saturday Privilege Club is open from 11pm until 7am with incredibly loud bass that kept us awake for the duration of our four night stay. The staff dismissed it, but I took a video and recorded the noise at 3am! Checked out early, half way through our stay as couldn't bear it any longer. Little empathy from the Management Team there unfortunately. We moved to A Concept Hotel in a quieter location. It was superb in every respect. Such a shame.

Small but comfy room (room 20) in a very nice boutique hotel which is located in a great location. The hotel has amazing views over the bay, our room was at the back without the view... but from what we heard that was a bonus, because there are noisy bars on the front... so maybe dont go for the expensive view rooms if you are a light sleeper. The hotel staff were lovely and spoke great English, we only ate breakfast (which was OK) and one lunch in the restaurant which was nice. The pool area is lovely, and the pools would be good for a cool off (not for swimming). Perfect location, just a short walk from the hustle and bustle and elevated enough to give the views. My only disappointment (but I still gave 5 stars) was that although we checked out early and missed a paid for breakfast, I was still charged for in room nespresso's for that morning. A small price.... but not the best impression on leaving. I'd recommend giving staff ability to waive a tiny charge to leave a good impression!

We spent a wonderful time in the Vila d'Este, People are very Nice with the guests, the room was very clean and peaceful. We envoyed a lot the view during the breakfast and the kindness of all the staff. Thanks a lot we will come back !!

Lovely hotel. My husband and I had great stay there. Would totally go back. Very close to all the main beaches , restaurants and town centre. Swimming pool is amazing and has a beautiful ocean view (Perfect place to see the sunset from). Staff was very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. Special thanks to Gabriel. He's a lovely guy and gave us all the good tips about Buzios.

The view and location were amazing! The staff was incredible-friendly, knowledgeable, multilingual. At the restaurant Lia was amazing! What a great resource! At the front desk Gabriel, Marco and all the guys were awesome! The rooms were very cute and we were surrounded by greenery. Very affordable and nicer than most of the other hotels in the area. There are some stairs so consider that although most areas are accessible.
