Cavo Bay Hotel has a gorgeous location on rocks leading down to the sea, clean-clean rooms and facilities, warm personnel (Marina & Antigone), and a phenomenal breakfast spread by Sonia. The only thing you hear at night is the waves so you sleep soundly. It is in Armenistis, so it is an easy walk to several fantastic restaurants, a very local beach, plus a 5-minute drive to Mesakti for waves, or a 5-minute drive to Nas for more restaurant—and beach—options. Because the rooms are so wonderful and the breakfast so abundant, the value is actually fantastic. This has been our second stay and everyone in the family is already begging for me to book us for next year.

Great hotel and facilities in the middle of Ikaria. We chose this location to explore both sides of the island and it's blue zone. The hotel had great breakfast options including coffee or ikarian tea, with seating overlooking the water on the balcony. Large rooms and we paid for a sea view which was beautiful to wake up to. Hotel also had pool and games room. Also within walking distance to a grocery store and a few great restaurants. Would recommend!

Beautiful hotel, great staff and service. Room was slightly cramped but clean and modern. It had a great balcony with two chairs and a table, and looked out to the sea. The view of the stars and the Milky Way was incredible at night! Unfortunately, it was very windy the two days we were there in October. The swimming pool was also not heated, so we were not able to use it. I had a small issue with the water... one night, the cold water was running brown and the hot water turned cold or ran out from the bathroom sink, but resolved themselves. When I showered one morning, the hot water turned cold on me, but after a minute or two resumed hot. We also enjoyed the lobby area staring out at the sea! There is a bar where you can have the staff fix a drink to enjoy on the many sofas in the lobby. The breakfast was also very nice and varied, with many dishes!... yogurt, honey, jams, cereals, breads, meats, eggs (one morning), potatoes, cakes, cookies, Tsoureki, various milks, juices, and coffee, and a coffee machine that made espresso and cappuccinos, etc. Memi was extremely friendly and gave us suggestions of villages and restaurants to explore. We especially liked a tiny bar in the village of Christos named Cafe Rahati. Quaint, stone cafe with homemade liqueurs, spanakopita and chocolate μωσαϊκό/kormos. Great stay.

Hotel was great! On a Cliff top which was beautiful. Walking distance to the beach and shops and restaurants. Pool was great and accessible. Rooms were great even for 4 guests. Lots of steps. Cabs are hard to come by and hard to book, car is required for Ikaria. Would stay here again,

We’ve just come back from a week at Cavos Bay. It’s a beautiful, friendly, well-located hotel in a small town, ideal for families. The rooms were contemporary, clean, the pool area also clean and relatively quiet (seems like most guests used the hotel as a base for exploring the rest of the island). Beach less than 10 mins walk away. Would say this place is ideal for a low-key, quiet family holiday.

A gem in Ikaria A beautiful hotel with amazing view, good Ac, comfortable bed and friendly staff. The owner Dmitri is welcoming and receptionist Marina is helpful. A wonderful place to stay

Cavos bay hotel in Ikaria is great. We booked a larger room for 3 people and the room was very modern with a small kitchen. We also had our own terrace overlooking the sea. The hotel is very clean, the receptionists are very friendly. The breakfast we did not like (the stuff was always finished and there were mostly just toast and cakes/cookies, the coffee was really horrible), but on the same street just a few meters further up, is a great coffee shop, where we enjoyed great breakfast every morning. The location is very good, but the car parking is an issue, which seems to be an issue on the complete island. In the evening all the streets are full of cars on both sides, but it is just a question of getting used to it.
