Lagoon Breeze Villas

This villa complex fit the bill for my sister and I with a friend joining us for the 2nd week. We had plenty of room for 3-4 in the one bedroom villa with twin bed alcove. The whole staff is warm, welcoming and friendly. the breakfast provided was delicious with fresh fruit, cereals, tasty yogurt and toast. The coffee is excellent. The grounds are well kept and it is right across the road from a beautiful beach . Great beach combing and a short walk to a beach with easy access to the water for snorkeling. We opted out of the car rental and took the bus for our trips into town or out for lunch. I love this place and we have already decided to return in 2 years for another wonderful vacation to Rarotonga.

A week in the sunshine on Rarotonga; the Lagoon Breeze Villas are so much more an island experience. The staff were wonderful; the grounds and pool area always tidy & clean. An excellent snorkelling beach to the left, just 3-4mins walk across the road. Tasty plentiful breakfast. Comfortable clean villas (without TV’s thankfully). Highly recommend this place to defrag, and enjoy your Cook Island holiday

Excellent place to stay for family vacation. Our family of 14 had the best time at lagoon breeze villas. Villas, pool,grounds excellent and snorkeling straight across the road. Vikki, Naomi, thank you both. You were very welcoming and very helpful. Tata, thank you for showing the family how to husk a coconut. We had a lot of fun and laughs. We all enjoyed cocktail evenings with tauine. Breakfast girls wonderful!!! Highly recommend this peice of paradise .

The staff and management did their best to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, they are very helpful and friendly. They were fantastic on the last day - helping us out immensely. The garden villas are a bit dated but very comfortable and clean, the grounds are beautiful, great snorkeling across the road from the complex. Roosters took a bit of getting used to!

Loved our stay at the Lagoon Breeze Villas. While not beachfront, the beach is directly across the road. A beautiful quiet beach for snorkelling with plenty of tropical fish, just steps away. The property has such a beautiful, relaxing and welcoming feel. The grounds and gardens are well cared for. Our two bedroom villa was spacious and comfortable, with a large private deck, everything we needed. We woke every morning to the sounds of roosters and a complimentary tropical breakfast, with fresh and tinned fruits, cereals, breads, juices, tea and coffee. Loved the tiny bananas. The pool looked lovely but was not heated, so icy cold, I preferred to swim in the ocean. Our host Vicki was wonderful, helpful and set the tone for an amazing stay on Rarotonga. With limited internet access in the Cook Islands, we purchased a Vodafone hotspot wifi pass at reception for $25 (including 30GB 3 users) to get us by. We travelled around the island on the bus ($30 10 ride pass or $5 one way adult / $3 child). One clockwise and anti clockwise bus every hour. We only needed to occasionally catch a taxi at night to get home ($25-$40). Make sure to carry cash for the bus or taxi. The bus was easy to catch to and from the airport. With a bus stop right out front. The convenience store and Rarotongan resort are both about a 5 minute walk away. We also walked 15 minutes to Shipwreck’s for great beachfront sunset food and drinks. I’m so glad we choose the Lagoon Breeze Villas! The other area of the island that looked nice to stay on a beautiful beach was around Palm Grove.

We loved our stay at Lagoon Breeze Villas. The studio villa was comfortable and plenty big enough for my husband and I. The grounds are beautiful and somewhat protected from the wind. The beach across the road is wonderful for snorkelling. We loved gathering each morning with the other guests for the complimentary breakfast. We particularly enjoyed our morning chats with Tere. The staff are all fantastic.

All of the stuff are lovely, the grounds are well maintained, and all you need is provide it including free to use snorkeling gear and kayaks. It was also one of the most family friendly places we have stayed.

Accomodation was great and Vicki & Naomi were exceptional. Looking forward to returning again. Graham & Farand

The only downside of staying at the Lagoon Breeze Villas was that our holiday was not long enough. Vicki and Nomi at reception were so helpful - anything you need around the island ask Vicki, she is an amazing concierge and provides excellent advice on anything to do with Raro. Our studio was very clean, private, and had everything we needed. The mama's and ladies working at the villas were very friendly and helpful. Vicki arranged for out transport from the airport to the villa's and return - a literally door to door service. They even made sure that our room was made up early and ready for us on arrival in Rarotonga at 7am, as she knew that we would have been very tired. Delicious (and super fresh) fruit for the continental breakfast. Definitely recommend, and we are already planning a trip back.
