Facilities: Definitely not as high-end as domestic hotels, more original.
Hygiene: Very clean, hot shower is also very convenient, great
Environment: Close to the seaside, needless to say the natural environment, the sea breeze is very comfortable at night

Great customer service from day 1 when I realised we had a 3rd floor room and due to hath reasons this wasn’t a good thing. The receptionist worked their magic and the issue was resolved.

Beautiful view of the palm trees and beach front straight from our balcony! Really stunning, especially at sunset. The room is a bit dated but very decent size and quiet (i.e. no noise from rooms nearby). The bed was comfortable and all amenities within the room were as expected including tables, chairs, mini fridge, etc. Staff were helpful with providing information on bus times/services and it was an easy walk to other restaurants nearby. The food at the pool bar/restaurant was good. Lots of places to explore along the beach and it wasn't crowded, so it felt very secluded when out and about. The pool was always busy with kids but we didn't feel like we were missing anything there.

My partner and I stayed at Edgewater Resort & Spa for 5 nights in early April 2024. The hotel is only a 5-minute drive from the airport and includes complimentary breakfast daily which was greatly appreciated. We really enjoyed the daily activities organised by the resort, including things like crab races, coconut cream lessons, sarong tying lessons, fish feeding and iku mata (raw fish dish) cooking lesson. The staff were great and the food was fantastic at the resort - the staff were also very accommodating to my gluten and dairy free diet which made things a lot easier. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel but since the bus comes once per hour, you need to time your trips right to avoid waiting long periods of time. There's great snorkelling right off the beach in front of the hotel with fish of lots of different varieties and the rooms are very comfortable. My only feedback would be that it would be great to have more free Wi-Fi included within our stay as we went through the 5MB data very quickly; it would be ideal to have included airport transfers given the hotel is so close to the airport (yet local companies are charging $50 minimum per person for return transfers). And I'd love an adults only pool as the resort's single pool was typically filled with kids. Out of the hotel's control but there were a few early morning wake up calls on account of the local roosters ;) Overall, a very enjoyable stay and we'd gladly return!

Front desk staff were amazing.
Dining staff need to pay attention when placing order everytime we either ordered a drink or food at least one item was always wrong. but other than that the amenities in the rooms were great well thought out and catered to needs.
