High Hill Farm

This place is such a gem. I went for a solo getaway...some much needed rest for a tired mom and it was everything I could have hoped for. The bungalows have everything you need and the staff makes sure that you have anything beyond that. I had the best food, the best massage and I will for sure be going back. It was the perfect getaway for what I needed. Next, I will either be bringing my friends or husband with me! Can't recommend this place more!

Great place for our anniversary, yet close to home! Cottages are comfy, dinner at the restaurant was great. With some good wines. Very quiet during the week, too! Look like they have plans for big expansions. Friendly staff and beautiful grounds.

We had a relaxing wonderful weekend celebrating our first wedding anniversary. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the grounds are beautiful and the food was fantastic. We’ll definitely be back.

Our stay was quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was delivered to our bungalow on time each morning. The beds were super comfortable. The large tub and shower were awesome. We will stay again when weather is better and we can walk the trails.

Had a quick get away with some girl friends last weekend and booked one of the cottages. A week before our arrival, a concierge wanted to help plan our stay (never been to Arp, just knew it was close to Tyler). So she let me know about dinner times at their on campus restaurant, breakfast options, and Sunday brunch. I though that attention to detail was pretty nice. Upon arrival, all the staff was very friendly, helpful, and accomodating. The room was cute, cozy, and had amenities that you usually don't see at a hotel - robes, sparkling wine upon arrival, and water bottles at no charge. I think their signature move is the fresh rose in a vase, which was lovely. You can see the plans to expand their vision into a little destination, no need to leave. With a pool for the summer, fire pits on the chilly nights, miles of walking paths, surrounded by trees and rolling fields, the morning walk was quite nice and the serene a**osphere kept us not eager to explore what lies beyond the property. Lost vision is evident for this destination location, nested in the Arp woods. Ownership seems to have a clear path to making this a quaint, all encompassing getaway. *Sidenote: If you can make it home without a stray dog, you are better than we are! (*More of a small, Texas town problem than High Hill issue.) Would go back for sure!

I recently visited High Hill, and I was more than impressed! I had the opportunity to enjoy a five-star dinner at the Cote restaurant on site. Dinner was AMAZING! The Staff was extremely courteous. The house chef, Ryan, came out and introduced himself, and personally asked about our dinner experience. The grounds are very well kept and maintained. The property features an on-site vineyard, outdoor fireplace, and pool. We had the pleasure of staying in the Julep bungalow. The room was spacious, and clean! The in-room amenities provided were placed with extreme attention to detail. Also to mention, the personal outdoor space was a nice touch for the personal, complementary breakfast. I had the opportunity to visit with the owners, which in return heightened my experience. Knowing that they not only care about the success of their business, but the quality that each guest receives, is definitely a plus in my book! All in all, the experience was one of luxury quality, and I will be returning in the very near future.

The long weekend getaway was perfect for our de-stressing and health recovery. Came back home perfectly healed from a holiday break at High Hill. The food was delicious and creative. We had a thoroughly relaxing time. The lodging was amazingly comfortable and brand-new. There is no wifi, and cell service was not really available for us. Hence it was easy to disconnect. Got no calls over the 3 days. Perfect. All rooms were fabulous.
