B&B HOTEL Arras

Breakfast was early but only few items. Nice location. Its very similar to the other bb hotel Nothing special

We have used this hotel several times as a stop over on the way back to the Eurotunnel. Great location and close to a nice restaurant for an evening meal. Clean rooms and easy check in. The car park is great as it is secured overnight. Walking distance to a bus stop that services Arras centre.

Stayed at this hotel for one night. Room was small for four people but so efficiently organized, we managed well. Beds were very comfortable. Room and hotel are very clean. I would go back if I was in Arras again.

We had pre booked our stay and arrived approx 3pm. Had to use automatic check in as reception closed. Entered Booking No and found our booking. We had opted to pay on arrival so, following instructions on the screen, inserted my credit card. Entered pin and system froze. Kept asking to insert card but then nothing. Eventually pressed button to seek help and operator said she did not know what the problem was and we would have to wait until 5 p,m. when reception opened. As it was -4 degrees centigrade outside this was not acceptable but operator said nothing she could do. Fortunately the booking we had made allowed cancellation before 6 pm so cancelled and went to Kyriad instead. We had also booked with this hotel for our return a few days later so cancelled this as well. Lesson learned - never book again with a B& B hotel

We were arriving late and i was sent the codes for our room. That was fine but on arrival i couldn’t get in through the gate with my vehicle. So i went to look for help and the security guard was a very grumpy and reluctant to help me. He finally agreed to open the carpark gate for me and he walked the speed of a snail. Once in, i typed the codes in and paid the remaining balance and off to the room! The rooms where clean but absolutely freezing, i put the heating onto maximum and it run for about 3 minutes, no heat tho! It was so freezing in the room even the toilet seat was like sitting on a block of ice or one a public one thats in an out door block. After the first use i was desperately trying not to use it again because it was so cold. Even my daughter was cold and she is always boiling, she even asked for a cuddle to warm up! Its was freezing in there! The bed made a banging noise when we moved as if the legs were uneven and i tried to put things under the legs to help stop it and it was so annoying and i bet downstairs was annoyed too. I think if i wasn’t so exhausted after a day in Disneyland and then the 2 hour drive to here, i would have jumped i back in my van and found somewhere else! Sat nav took us to the hotel via an extra toll booth, so again an extra payment, magical mystery tour around what seemed like an industrial estate! Roundabout after roundabout, I thought it was going to be just off the motorway but it wasn’t.
