I knew Café Smaragdi from my previous stays in Sifnos as I was used to buy coffee thee in the morning before hitting Sifnos trails. I always appreciated the friendliness of their staff, especially Antonis and Yorgo, who always made me feel welcomed.
So, this year, I decided to stay at Hotel Smaragdi and I’m very happy with my choice. Rooms are very nice and clean with good beds and quality toiletries.
As always staff is very friendly and always available if you need help.
Breakfast is super nice as next to a croissant, orange juice and warm drink, you can pick up one meal of your choice from the breakfast menu. Personally, I loved the acai bowl!
Hotel is located in Artemonas just next to the main bus station of Sifnos, which makes it very convenient to move around the island.
I loved my stay at Smaragdi Hotel and highly recommend it to anyone!

Very nice hotel situated in the village of Artemonas .Few minute walk from the center.Easy access to anywhere on the island. The room was very clean , cozy and quiet.Friendly hospitality. The owner and the staff were very helpful.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful village! The location of the hotel is perfect - regular buses to everywhere on Sifnos are right on its doorstep, and Artemonas itself is utterly charming. Hotel owner, Antonis is relaxed, warm-hearted & friendly & has imbued his staff with the same attitude - they are efficient, considerate, polite & professional. Our hotel room was lovely & cleaned regularly. Would come back here in a heartbeat. They couldn’t do enough for us in every way. An absolute highlight of our trip. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!

This was the best place we stayed during our month long trip to Greece. We loved the staff and the breakfast! The coffee was also excellent and the location was perfect for exploring the island by foot, bus, and car…. All of which we did during our multi-day stay.

Cadre idyllique, staff adorable, cuisine généreuse et très goûteuse. Ambiance familiale. Genre de bungalows individuels excessivement mignons dans un hâvre de paix. Le gérant Adonis est une très belle personne qui n'hésite pas à rendre service sans qu on lui demande et les jeunes serveurs toujours souriants et sympathiques. Le must étant le village d Artemonas et son charme fou.. Merci pour tout, nous avons hâte de revenir. Séjour à jamais gravé dans notre cœur ❤️ Myriam et Felipe

We stayed in a double room with a small terrace. Bed was large and comfortable, room was simply furnished. The hotel is conveniently located in the cozy village of Artemonas, 15 mins by car from the port. Good restaurants and bars are at walking distance but the heart of the village is the Smaragdi bar. Antonis was really kind with us, trust his suggestions!
