We flew to Tahiti last September and stayed at Le Tahiti by Pearl for 3 nights before heading to Morea then Bora Bora. The hotel was clean and tidy. Our room with sea view and jacuzzi was amazing, looking out onto the black sand beach. The restaurant and pool area were a great place to chill out. All in all, a great place to relax and start to sort the jet lag from UK. A great nights entertainment with the local fire dancers etc, book in advance to get a seat. A 20 min bus or taxi ride from town, and there was a free bus service into town if required. John & Simone from Leeds, UK.

The place was depressing. Old, tired, in need of painting. Room was dusty as if it hadn’t been used in a while. The fon adapter didn’t work so every outlet was lousy for adaptor connection so fon couldn’t be charged. Pool nice looking but tiles broken off & again, just so in need of updating, paint & maintenance

The location is ideal, taxis each way are about $20-30 depending on where you're headed. Property has private black sand beach access. A nice pool, juccuzi was cold the whole stay. They provide a great show on the weekend with dancers and they invite guest to join them. Breakfast buffet on the weekends, and it was really good, especially the local fish dish "poisson cru". Now our only issue was the state of the property and we did have a issue on our last night at dinner. Our particular room "300 building" was run down. Mold on the ceiling, the bathroom was sad and had a smell. You can tell when the resort first opened it was probably really nice. But now it definitely needs some major TLC. The front desk staff were very nice and welcoming, and the cleaning staff were great as well. Overall a nice stay, but the living quarters were a bit beat up for my liking. I do believe they have a newer building so hopefully those are up to par, overall the resort is good for a quick stay.

At the hotel owned parking lot, our rental car was damaged by a falling piece of rock. The hotel initially assured us of handling the damages. However, now that we are back home, they are ignoring all messages, and we are left with the costs of almost € 2000,-

Bel hôtel avec grande piscine et belle plage de sable noir. Personnel sympathique. Taille de l’hôtel plus humaine que d’autres grands ensembles comme Hilton ou Intercontinental. Nourriture abordable et variée avec standards locaux et internationaux.

Emplaza en la bahía Matavai, salida directa a la playa La Fayette, exótica playa de arena negra volcánica: es una experiencia tan exótica y tan auténticamente polinesia, que la recomiendo mil veces. Siempre me han interesado las experiencias de viajes comprometidas con el valor cultural y patrimonial de los sitios que visito, este hotel es un caso perfecto de puesta en valor de todo ello: su compromiso con los artesanos locales, la puesta en valor de esta mítica playa donde está emplazado el hotel, la calidad de atención, personal del hotel que habla tu idioma, su calidez y atención a todos los detalles. Su área de piscina y vistas únicas desde su confitería y restaurante al atardecer, sus shows de danzas polinesias y la oportunidad a diario de traslad**** gratis al centro de Papeete, son puntos sobresalientes de este alojamiento. Volvería siempre que visite Tahiti sin dudarlo.

Nous avons passé 4 nuits au Tahiti Pearl dans une suite (avec cuisine) et vue sur océan. L’accueil est très bien, tout le personnel d’ailleurs est très chaleureux, souriant et compétent. La piscine est très belle et très agréable. Il n’y a jamais foule et on peut y trouver facilement de la place (serviettes disponibles à la réception). La plage est accessible directement de l’hôtel. Une superbe plage de sable noire (publique). La restauration est correcte. À voir absolument le show Marquisien qui a lieu les jeudis pendant le dîner. Dîner lors duquel vous pourrez choisir les plats à la carte du restaurant ou un buffet à volonté. Nous avons opté pour le buffet, nous avons été un peu déçu. La suite était parfaite, très grande, très propre et la vue juste merveilleuse !! Le spectacle du Coucher de soleil sur Moorea est un moment magique!!
