This property has a lot of history to it and is very cozy because of its well established grounds. It’s like taking a step back in time.

This lodge is a beautiful and peaceful place. It feels like you are tucked away in nature, surrounded by lots of trees and with game in the background. All the staff are extremely friendly and go the extra length to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are spacious and very clean and consist of everything you would need. Also, the food in the restaurant is amazing, the chef is very good! We had great lunches and dinners here. The breakfast is delicious with lots of different options. We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely come back. This is the perfect place when you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful retreat when traveling to Arusha!

Loved staying here, away from noise of Arusha before setting out on safari. Est our meals outside near waterhole with Colobus monkeys in the trees. Staff were lovely.

This hotel is a little oasis of calm on the way to or from a safari. The staff are amazing. Very kind and really go the extra mile to help you. Housekeeping is exceptional, the restaurant and reception staff are incredibly well meaning and the massages are amazing. We went to visit an orphanage while we were there which was life changing.

Wonderful Stay!!! We had a blast. The food and the people who work there are awesome. We felt really welcomed after our climb Kilimanjaro. Also the whole location is really pretty, clean and charming. The wine card is huge and the coffee is great. Thank you so much.

This lodge is beautiful and offered a quiet place to rest and relax after a long flight from Canada. Our cottage was spacious and welcoming. The staff were very kind and patient. The food was delicious! We spent one afternoon driving to see Mt. Kilamanjaro. We highly recommend this lodge for those of you arriving or leaving through Arysha.

Wir waren hier 5 Tage und haben diese lange Zeit nicht bereut. Es ist perfekt wenn man vor einer Safari auch die Umgebung und die Freundlichkeit der Leute genießt Das Hotel bietet eine kostenlose Wanderung durch Usa River an. Das war für uns sehr beeindruckend zumal der Führer ein Einheimischer war der uns alles gezeigt hat und auch zu einem günstigen und funktionierenden Geldautomaten auch für europäische Kreditkarten. Auch ein Besuch nach Arusha oder Moshi mit Kilimandscharo ist sehr beeindruckend. Zudem ist der Arusha NP um die Ecke. Nun zum Hotel. Die Bäder sind inzwischen vermutlich alle perfekt renoviert. Die alten Häuser sind sehr gepflegt geräumig mit Moskitonetz und der Gegend angepasst. Das Essen ist ein Highlight und war auf unserer 3 Wöchigen Rundreise nirgends besser. Eigentlich perfekt fast immer a la Card mit freier Menüwahl. Ein kleiner Shop und das überaus geschulte Personal runden der Aufenthalt als perfekt ab!

magnifique lodge au milieu d'un parc ou les animaux sont présents(nous avons vu des singes et zébres) trés bonne nourriture,surtout le buffet. A noter un trés bon expresso. possibilité de manger ss gluten. Personnel souriant et sympathique

The Meru Game Lodge exceeded all of our expectations on our first trip to Africa! Gorgeous landscaping, comfortable beds, friendly and attentive service, delicious, fresh and healthy food, and lots of interesting and fun things to do on site or nearby! We highly recommend this place to anyone traveling in Arusha or nearby.
