A very lovely old pub in a truly beautiful place. Lovely Room, with a large bathroom with seperate shower and seperate bath. Tea and coffee machine. Room also had robes, slippers and a selection of chocolates and excellent teas and water. Unfortunately maybe if attention was spent on making sure the shower drained and the bed was not so hard it would have been perfect. There was a Dyson fan but could get very hot in summer but windows did open. We opted for an upgrade to a bigger room as sure the snug rooms would be just that. Breakfast was fantastic but the hostess is very animated especially before coffee. Cannot comment on the food as didn’t dine. Would definitely stay again and hope the bed and shower was a one off.

Popped in here for a light snack & a beer & so wished we were staying in this pub/hotel. Great location, fabulous service & immaculately clean with great decor - rooms looked very good. Great choice of food & beers & our food was very good & reasonably priced. Would definitely return for a stay.

I stayed here for one night on business. Very nice hotel and bar. Very clean and well maintained. Lovely toiletries and robes, etc. Great selection of tea and coffee in the room and fresh milk, which is unusual in a hotel. Breakfast was good, but the butter for my toast was solid as it had just came from the fridge.

Stopped for lunch. Food and service exceeded expectations. We had one of the best fish finger sandwiches ever, filled with very many lovely fish goujons in light batter, and Brie and bacon sandwich, which my husband said was delicious, and he’s really hard to please. Amazing lunch here second time I’ve been and huge compliments to the chef your food is outstanding Great choice on the menu and lovely to have normal with slightly different twist in my opinion fantastic Staff lovely and friendly and willing the only reason not a five star as took so long to get the bill as I think you are understaffed! Would still highly recommend and come again !
