On the morning of the 15th, I went to take a shower before heading off, and there was no hot water. I tried the shower and the bath taps, and neither ran hot water. This was around 7:45am. I went down to reception and told them at about 8:15am. They told me to try again and leave the water running for a while. They then said if that also didn't work, it might be better in about an hour or I could maybe take into another room to see if the hot water worked there. This latter offer was not helpful to me as I needed to leave at a certain time. I went back to my room, I left it for a while and tried again at 8:32am. I ran the tap for about 10 minutes, there was no change. Please see the photos below. The hot water was cold. I ended up having to leave with no shower. The staff on the reception were polite and apologetic. However, considering the price of this hotel, I feel it is not acceptable to have no hot water in the morning. I asked at the time of my stay if I could have some refunded amount due to my inconvenience. I was told this was not possible and that I had to write back to the hotel. I did ask to speak to any management or to be given any management details, and I was told nobody was available, and there were no contact details for any management. There was also no complaint system.
