Stay over was good,food was excellent although alittle on the small side for breakfast as for the FULL ENGLISH more like LITTLE ENGLISH,abit disappointed by that,overall stay was quiet as I was at the back,lovely view of farmland and horses....

Saturday night stay for 2 expecting a quiet night to break up a 700 mile journey. Room, food and facilities generally good. However the hotel hosts events and there was a very noisy party hosted on the night of our stay with disco music until midnight. This was unexpected and ruined our quiet night. Reception advised that the party was a last minute booking and they would usually call guests to offer cancellation if it was a problem but had not had time or overlooked calling us. For those wanting a quiet night, it would be prudent to check that there is no similar event on the night they wish to book.

We celebrated my husband’s 80th birthday at lunchtime on Sunday 19th May 2024. Monica was our waitress and was superb. The food was delicious, service amazing and all in all a wonderful experience. My grateful thanks to all. We will be back again.

We often pop in here for drinks, bar staff without exception are friendly and welcoming, there is a great range of drinks. Bar area is very comfortable and cosy and a lovely relaxed a**osphere. Very friendly and relaxing, definitely a lovely place to drink and relax.

The hotel was lovely and clean,beds comfy, staff very friendly.. but the constant traffic noise all night was bad from our room, so didn’t get much sleep. I also found £9.50 for a sandwich a bit excessive… but the breakfast was lovely. We wouldn’t chance walking down the main road into town, and the back route was just to far for us.

We did not stay there but had a meal in the restaurant. The food was delicious and plenty of it. We were served by a lovely young woman called Amy who was very polite, friendly and efficient. We would recommend it and we will certainly be going back there very soon.

We dine every month with Arundel Probus at the White Swan. Always an excellent lunch with convivial company, great service and local real ale.
