Clean room, very basic though with a noisy AC and with not so nice view over the poor neighbors. Breakfast ok if you are hungry. 20 minutes from Arusha airport though.

The blowdrying was terrible. She didn’t even finish the knots in my hairnbefore she started plaiting. I was like, ok maybe the actual braids will be better. No, they weren’t. I was doing dirty brown braids so I expected her to tuck my natural hair to the back but she didn’t. The hair parting was also very bad. I found some lines were significantly bigger than others. Anyway from mt experince I don’t commend the salon

Pictures can be deceiving. While this location is clean, close to town and has extremely friendly staff - it is dated, inexpensively furnished and a very nice 3* hotel but not the 4* I was expecting. For a 2* hotel it is excellent - for 3* it is above average. It is worth the price of a room, but not the resort it sounded like on the website.

A lovely spot just outside of Arusha. We stayed here as part of our safari package with Safari Soles. The rooms are basic but have everything you need and are great value for the price. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. We were very satisfied and would recommend this hotel.

Sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Preisleistungs-Verhältnis. Uns wurde vom Hotel ein Fahrer für einen günstigen Preis zur Verfügung gestellt. Der Fahrer war super. Mit dem Transfer vom Flughafen zum Hotel hat alles super geklappt. Essen ist gut, Zimmer sind sauber. Das Bad ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

The hotel was reasonable for the price. The staff was extremely helpful. General manager Hanif was very helpful and cautious. Breakfast was ok. Good at the restaurant was good. I stayed for 2 nights. Affordable and easy. The room was ok. Will recommend to my family and friends.

We have ******* Gold status. With ******* Gold you qualify for room upgrades in some properties. When we checked into the Tulia Hotel we received a downgrade. The room was at the back of the hotel as be felt claustrophobic. It was in poor disrepair. It had no nightables. It was small with little room to move around the bed.
We asked for another room and to the hotels credit they did give us another room but not until the next day. The new room was a huge improvement over the previous room. My issue is that we should not have had to ask to move.
If you are looking at the Tulia Hotel be aware that there are no safes in the rooms. This is a huge inconvenience. You will need to bring your valuables with you on any excursions. We had several items go missing including 2 rings and headphones. Let me be clear that I am not saying these items disappeared at the Tulia Hotel, however they did disappear sometime between arriving at the Tulia Hotel and the second day of the next Hotel, Riu Jambo Zanzibar. I only pont this out so people are aware prior to booking with the Tulia as this is a important consideration.
The area around the Tulia Hotel is not very nice. The hotel does have a decent restaurant with good food however.
For the type of hotel it is I think it is overpriced.
Overall I wouldn't recommend Tulia Hotel

An amazing oasis on the outside of Arusha to refresh and use as a starting point for your adventures. We stayed here as part of our 10 day safari with Safari Soles. A very quiet boutique hotel that has everything you could want or need. Work out rooms, pools, bar and food available anytime. The staff is very attentive and front desk manager Geoffrey is there all hours of the day an night to provide any assistance you may need. Highly Recommended!

We spent there one night right after we arrived from europe. To stay after arrival and before a safari it was ok. We had a quiet room and still could have dinner after 22 o‘clock. For breakfast there was a buffet. Everyone was friendly and all was clean.
