nice and clean
The room is very spacious and clean
The front desk guy is very considerate, but the others are a little worse
It took a long time to get a bottle of water
There was a sudden power outage, so the air conditioner could not be turned on, but the temperature was not high and the show was fine

This is certainly a hidden gem in Arusha. The staff Albert and Naiomi make sure that you are well taken care of the entire stay. The beds are comfortable, the water is hot, and the food is delicious. The restaurant is tucked amongst the trees with a water feature in back making for an extremely relaxing environment. An added plus was hearing the bush babies when it got dark. Great job staff!

Our group stayed here for two nights before starting a safari. Albert and his team made us feel perfectly at home, going above and beyond expectations. Our bags were a day delayed at the airport but we didn’t notice missing a thing because we were so well cared for here. The food was incredible and more than we could possibly eat, the rooms were a great respite after days exploring Arusha, and we appreciated all of the special touches that the staff did for us to make us feel welcome!

The friendly, welcoming staff, wonderful food and clean, quiet, spacious rooms made for a wonderful first stop on our Tanzanian adventure. I would highly recommend this garden oasis. We have a large group and they were very accommodating to our needs and even surprised us with a bonfire and holiday lights for our final dinner. Albert and his crew were super friendly and spoke English well.

Exceptional in every way! I travel to Arusha frequently and for long durations. I always seek a hotel that is centrally locally but quiet, offers delicious and healthy local cuisine, and provides consistent a/c, hot water, and power. I found all this and more at Malika Trees Lodge! During my two-week stay, the staff went above and beyond priding exceptional customer service. Albert made certain that every need was met and even made me ginger tea when I was ill. No request was too much; his commitment to excellent customer service is unparalleled! Naomi, the chef, prepared the most delicious meals. I prefer vegetarian and her tantalizingly dishes are something I will certainly miss! Room service was thorough and spotless. Every day I had fresh towels and sheets, and the coffee/tea/water bar was restocked. Leaving here today I will miss the quiet (no shouting churches or mosques nearby) and the sense of family that Malika Lodge provides. As a special surprise on my last night, they even prepared a beautiful table surrounded by lanterns outside near the pool. Do yourself a favor and check out my favorite place to stay in Arusha: Malkia Trees Lodge! You will not be disappointed!

Malkia Trees Lodge is a sweet, welcoming warm, serene, hospitable, tucked away place that was super comfy and the staff was super helpful and friendly! Naomi’s a great chef of African cuisine! Albert was a great host! AC works!! Not luxury’s by any means, but enjoyable!

Stayed at Malkia trees Lodge for 1 day. We ate a very good traditional African buffet. It was very good services, and the employees was very welcoming. The place was very clean. And the pool area was very nice. The pool had a nice temperature. Also the Wi-Fi was very good. Would definitely come back some day.
