Hotel's about 10 minutes walk by the track on pedestrian walkway from the station. There's a 7-11 across. Quiet area.
Great Onsen with jacuzzi and ishiburo (stone tub) as well as the usual hot and cold pools with sauna.
There's no water in the room but they give each guest a coin for their own drinks at the Onsen.
Every evening til 9pm, there's free sampling of sakes. Last night, there were five bottles and cos there are no staff, you can sample them unlimited! I think I had about 300ml total.
There's free soup but I'd skip them.

Very new, clean and well equipped hotel, the public bath and hot springs pools are amazing, 炭酸泉 is strongly recommended, must try. Location is perfect and walking distance to train station and food street. 性價比極高。

Great experience! It's about a 6-7 minute walk from the station, and there's a convenience store downstairs. The rooms and facilities are relatively new, and the onsen (hot spring) is quite spacious. Breakfast was delicious. There's also a humidifier provided in the room.
The only minor downside is that the last entry for breakfast is 9 AM, so I ended up wasting my breakfast voucher on the first day 😂

Stayed here to visit Asahiyama Zoo and also day trip to Biei. Great location cos it's just next to the KTX station exit. Hotel size is acceptable and free coffee and soup plus light snacks at the lobby. Hotel comes with free public onsen but I didn't visit. Overall, this is a great place for people who will use KTX to travel to other cities for day trip. Easy access and great location!

Hotel WBF Grande Asahikawa is centrally located in Asahikawa, very close to Asahikawa Station, making it convenient for trips to Asahikawa Zoo and other attractions. There's an AEON Mall near the station, which is great for shopping. The hotel has a hot spring bath; it's small but very comfortable. Breakfast is standard, but you'll get a full meal.

Great location, next to the train station. Onsen was great, lots of pools to choose from and one better than the other. What an enjoyable experience.

Stayed for 6days and 5 nights, the buffet breakfast was 96% the same every morning. Wished that the buffet have more variety. Other than that, all other services are top notch. The system of providing the change of amenities (eg new bathrobes and towels) without the need of room service is excellent!
Will stay here again. Thank you!

This has to be one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. I specifically booked a Japanese/Western style room for over 1900, because I had a spinal injury and couldn't sleep on a soft bed. I chose it for the floor futon, but when I got to the front desk, they said if I wanted the futon, I'd have to pay an extra 3000 for the bedding. Are you kidding me? I booked a room *with* a futon, and then they wouldn't provide it? So I had to pay another 3000. I've been to Hokkaido three times this year, and this is by far the worst room I've experienced. The carpet reeked of stinky feet, the room facilities were old and dated, and it wasn't even clean. Highly not recommended.

The room was spacious and the location was excellent, very close to the JR station. There were a lot of foreign skiers staying there. I miss the dreamy snowy scenery of Asahikawa; it's where I encountered the deepest and softest snow in Hokkaido. I hope to visit again.

Just a few minutes' walk from Asahikawa Station, this hotel is super convenient for catching buses to the airport, Sapporo, Biei, and Furano. There's even a large supermarket right in the station. The hotel breakfast is amazing, and you can even enjoy a hot spring bath. Highly recommended!

We opted for the priciest hotel in this area, primarily because of its impressive public bath facilities. Our room was reasonably spacious and offered a view of the JR station. However, parking came with a 1000 yen fee, making it pricier than the public parking facility right next door. The public bath itself was decent. Breakfast was good as well, but considering the price point, the overall value for money was genuinely disappointing.
