We only spent one night in a suite but we could tell it was a well equipped hotel. 2 restaurants, gym, laundry services, etc. Parking was convenient and the staff made you feel welcomed.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for a week to attend a conference. I was so happy to find my room was absolutely spotless. Normally, convention hotels are always rough around the edges. But, the Residence Inn Downtown Raleigh checked all of the boxes for a great stay. I especially want to thank Kyle and Haylie at the 2nd floor restaurant. Kyle was great about accommodating my dietary request for dinner each night. And, Haylie was so kind to track down hot teas for me in the evening before bed. They helped make my stay feel like a home away from home, which is what every hotel stay should feel like for guests. Ask for them if you stay here! I definitely recommend this hotel for solo and business travels during visits to Raleigh.

Hailey and Kyle took great care of us at the bar in The Overlook. We stop by for food and drinks before the Red Hat Amphitheater shows and we're hoping we see them again next time we're there.

This is an awful hotel run by awful management . I booked my trip in February securing a government work rate. A month later, Susan the hotel manager changed my reservation from gov rate to a AAA rate (despite me not being AAA member). They did this in violation of website gov rate policy and despite being Titanium Elite Marriott corporate is allowing this to happen. I recommend avoiding this hotel for work. I stayed at the hotel a year prior using government rate without issue. The new manager Susan is just Teri le to work with. She will not honor your service and will arbitrarily change reservations to maximize their room rate.

We really had a nice stay - the hotel was clean, convenient, and the service from Robert at the front desk was fantastic. We appreciated the very good breakfasts every day and the overall value for the cost. Great place!

Kyle at the Overlook bar was AMAZING! Very charismatic and attentive! And his hair was the best! Very debonair! My guy took care of us, he had awesome suggestions and the burger was fair! Whenever you’re in Raleigh, check him out at the bar on the 2nd floor!

Suzan at the front desk was great during some difficulties we had in finding somewhere to stay last minute, very accommodating! We went to the Overlook restaurant for dinner and had KYLE as a bartender and he was amazing! He made our stay memorable for sure! If you don't know which one is Kyle , look for the good lookin fella with slick back hair!!
