Construction going on right outside our window. Bathroom door wouldn’t close. Lightbulbs not working. Remote for tv was only partially working. The alarm was set the first night and we woke at 5am.

This was our second time staying at this location and it was a wonderful stay. This hotel is nothing fancy, I describe it as a high end budget hotel, but it is clean, very well staffed, and offers all the amenities that make a trip pleasant. We will definitely be staying there again.

Old and NOT renovated. As another traveler said, very noisy. In our case it was a woman who was cleaning rooms. She was on her phone in the hallway, cussing up a storm in Spanish and she actually woke us up. When I opened the door and asked her if that was her making so much noise, she said No. It was the front desk. Wasted our free Marriott night on this place. Stay somewhere else. Breakfast was decent. But I still don’t recommend this place for an Asheville stay.

Hard bed, flat pillows, phone in the room didn’t work.

No hot water for 2 days
The elevator light was not working so you couldn’t know what floor you where on
