We stayed here for one night on a road trip. Super clean and beds are very comfy! Everything you need is here! There was a really cool indoor/outdoor pool that I didn't get a chance to use but it looked inviting. There was one weird thing that happened and that was that the whole building shook. It was for a brief period of time and I don't know what caused it but my husband and I both felt it.

Finding the hotel was somewhat of a chore and the parking lot is tight, but there's little that can be done about either. Otherwise everything else was top-notch.
The owners could teach a college class about the proper way to run a hotel/motel as they have mastered it.

We initially had an issue with IHG canceling our original reservations two days before our stay at another Holiday Inn Express in the Asheville area because the building wasn't completed. After a lot of leg work and phone calls, we were booked in the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Downtown Asheville. I'm so glad that we were. The staff were amazing, compassionate and very helpful. They really took care of us in what started as a not great situation. The rooms were very well prepared and clean. Highly recommend this hotel.

This was our second visit to the this particular hotel and it was just as wonderful as our first. Staff were wonderful! Rooms and common areas were extremely clean! We stopped by the desk one afternoon to get some information on what to do and where to eat, we were introduced to the GM who gave us a TON of wonderful information on hiking as well as restaurants in the area, he was so friendly and personable. Next time we come to Asheville, this will be our hotel.

These beds are literally the best feeling beds I’ve slept on in a long while, the showers are lovely and the employees were nice, James was very kind and welcoming. Greeted us with a warm smile and carried along quite well. The hot tub was so very nice after the week we’ve had.

Close to downtown but with parking. And it’s free parking. Easy walk or ride share to the town center. Friendly staff. Clean, updated rooms. And affordable.
