Beaufort House Inn

From the time we arrived to the time we left, we felt very much at home at the Beaufort House Inn. Cheryl and Makayla were very helpful and friendly, and Patrick crafted delicious breakfasts. The mansion has lovely historic touches and a delightful wraparound porch overlooking a large yard full of blooming spring flowers. The location is very convenient to downtown restaurants and attractions, within walking distance. We will definitely stay again.

This is such a beautiful inn with unbelievably personalized service. Beds were perfect, and breakfast was exceptional! The communication from the inn was thru text, and made everything seamless, including modifications for my food allergies! I highly recommend!

We took a chance and scheduled a one night stay when coming through Asheville. What a great decision! Beautiful place and just the nicest people especially the chef who made us a delicious breakfast. Highly recommend! Gardens were a special treat too and close to downtown.

We had a wonderful time! The Sarah Davidson suite is amazing! Our breakfast was our of this world! Will diffently go back again!! Everyone was so nice and hospitable

My wife and I loved our stay at the Beaufort House Inn!!! For context, we typically stay at B-level (occasional A-level) hotels and some middle of the road Airbnbs, and this was our first real bed and breakfast. The property and the home are gorgeous!! Obviously it's old (certainly not trendy), but well-kept and beauitful! The grounds and gardens were lovely too. A firepit and some lights in the evening as well. We stayed in the Oak Terrace room which is effectively a basement room (still does have an exterior window and door). Much more affordable than the other options, but definitely lacked the charm seen in the other rooms. Our room was still spacious and suited our needs! Breakfast was gourmet and delicious!! Absolutely loved it (and the B&B vibe of communal breakfast). Only wish would be some sort of afternoon or evening happy hour or bar or even just an opportunity to buy some wine. I wouldn't say it's walking distance to downtown, but it's walking to the Charlotte St area cafes, restaurants, and grocery/Trader Joe's, and a very quick drive to anywhere else you'd want to go.

Delightful breakfast everyday with different menu each time. It was nice to stay in a bed/breakfast inn listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Close to downtown, restaurants, waterfalls and hiking trails.

Perfect location to explore Asheville and feel like a local. Walkable downtown and Charlotte Street restaurants, yet very quiet. I'm not sure I'd stay anywhere else when visiting the city. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed meeting other guests during the Friday evening "wine time" out on the patio. The Ivy Room is likely below the kitchen, as we could hear footsteps in the morning, but they weren't loud enough to be a bother. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was large and clean. Chef prepared a delicious breakfast. We will stay again.

Beaufort House Inn is a lovely old home, in a residential neighborhood, yet within walking distance of downtown Asheville. Our room was clean and comfortable. The waffle breakfast was amazing as is the hand carved woodwork throughout the Inn. Great staff, readily available for any needs.
