Lovely clean room, friendly staff, great service, stayed in many premier inns but this was the best. Ideal location. Would recommend this hotel for families/couples and business travellers. Also competitively priced so good value for money.

Another work trip and this hotel always delivers - rooms are clean and the staff are always friendly plus helpful. Good location to get to all parts of Northumberland coast. The Country Park and lake is always a bonus especially with the recent good weather.

Good location and acces, good quality-price, easy parking, quite and beautiful surroundings. All was clean and nice staff. I would repeat without hesitation. No elevator and poor wifi on room 150 but it wasn't a problem for us.

We stayed here as my niece was having a wedding reception in Ashington. It's a nice hotel in lovely surroundings. The car park could do with a bit of TLC as it kind of gives a poir first impression of the hotel. Breakfast was a little chaotic and less choice of items in continental than prev trips. More Danish pastries would be good

Thought this was going to be great. Nice hotel by the lake, great room, lovely meal in the pub next door. Admittedly we went to bed early (about 9pm) as we were tired as we'd had a 6 hour drive. The room upstairs had children who were running around and there was no way we could sleep, the noise of their stomping and running around was horrendous. You could hear every step. there's obviously no insulation between the floors. Totally spoilt our stay. Why put family rooms upstairs?????

We stayed here on a visit to the North East for a family celebration. Though well outside of Ashington, the hotel is easy to get to in a good, quiet location on the shore of a lake that provides a nice walk around it, for those who like a stroll. The associated pub is very handy for a good range of meals, including an excellent breakfast. The staff at both the hotel and pub were excellent. Even after a long shift they were cheery, helpful and pleasant - working just has hard and enthusiastically as they had been when we saw them at the start of their shift. We will definitely stay here again when we visit the North East in future. My only comment is a minor one. Please change the cleaning products used to clean and sanitise the rooms for something that smells less of bleach and is more guest friendly!

Stayed here after visiting Northumberland for the weekend, this hotel was local to where we had planned on visiting. Upon arrival into the carpark you are met with a beautiful lake setting, full of geese and swans, really pretty. Check in was simple and smooth, we were on the ground floor, room was spotless, comfy beds, amazing shower, extra tea and coffee sachets available in the reception area so you just help yourself which is a nice gesture I thought. Wonderful stay can't fault it at all. I will stay here again for sure.

A great little hotel, lovely rooms, lovely team and the food next door was nice. Breakfast was busy but plenty of availability of food. The weather wasn't brilliant but didn't stop us enjoying the Northumbrian coast. Definitely worth a re-visit
