We stayed here for 2 nights recently when visiting friends locally. It was good to stay in a place with some character rather than a soulless corporate hotel. My dietary needs (coeliac) were well catered for and there was a good selection for breakfast. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Good base for range of tourist attractions and activities. We will definitely be back.

The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Could have done with an extra toilet roll. We had to get one fromnour daughter's room.
Otherwise a very pleasant stay.

Room was a little bit snug and not very warm, however the friendliness of the hosts made up for it and it is very convenient for the event I attended.

There was no Bible in the room. I've contacted the hotel about this and not had a reply which is disappointing.
The food was spot on (my mother would have preferred streaky bacon but I'm sure there are others who would prefer non streaky).
The check in is done by keys in envelopes at the door when you arrive and SMS text messages, no face to face contact.
The room was fine, nothing to complain about (apart from the missing Bible).
The hotel was used by surviving members of the dam busters squadron.
Overall, happy with this stay.
