The norblad hotel is our absolute favorite place to stay wheb visiting Astoria. The whole place is always so clean and the staff are incredibly friendly. We had Cisco help us when we came in to check in and the last two time we stayed here we had the best experience and had some great coversations with and our pup loves him. We will Keep coming back anytime we are in Astoria. The hotel is so clean and the kitchen is so nice.

Very friendly staff. Feels a bit like a more private hostel. More noisy, than I was hoping for, but not ridiculously so. Would definitely stay again.

I’ve stayed at this property three times (all one night stays) and have zero complaints. I’ve stayed in three separate style rooms (Cabin, Cabin Light, and Corner Suite) and all were fine. Cabin and Cabin Lights have shared bathrooms but they are clean, close by, and rooms are equipped with bathrobes for middle of the night trips. I actually prefer the Cabin Light room for sleeping as it is an interior room and thus a bit quieter though all rooms have earplugs by the bed. Staff is great, location is top notch, and hotel is clean and comfortable. Climbing stairs is required, parking is street so be mindful of that but its a great, reasonably priced, urban hotel. Look forward to my next visit.

I loved this hotel's staff, a**osphere, convenience, simplicity and ease. The room was lovely, the bed incredibly comfortable, the staff friendly, everything was very clean and smelled good. I stayed in a room with a sink and though I did not have a bathroom or shower in the room, but in the hall, it was actually very easy and convenient. The group kitchen was a plus. The hotel is in the middle of town, so I was able to walk to everything.

Our Front Desk agent who checked us in was absolutely phenomenal. I appreciate everything he did for us, he was just a real cool dude. He said he’d worked here for six years, I appreciate him and the work he’s doing and he deserves a raise !

Really loved this historic hotel and view from the Astor suites. Very clean and comfortable. Great location and friendly staff. I couldn’t get the smooth cook top to work but supplied tea and K-cup coffee was very nice. Glad to know in advance there was no TV so we could bring alternative activities.
