Basma Executive Club

We only stayed at the Basma Executive Club for one night on our way across Egypt in April, 2023. The hotel upgraded us to a bigger room, which was very nice especially for the price. We ordered a family studio and were upgraded to a suite! We got in pretty late but were able to catch the buffet for dinner. We sat outside by the pool. They kept the buffet open a little later just for us since we were the last ones arriving there. They were even walking us through to show us what they had. It was really great service all around. Everyone was as nice as could be. In the morning before we left they also had a fantastic breakfast as well. We had a taxi take us to Abu Simbel which is only about a 3 hour drive from the hotel. Great hotel for anyone who wants to explore Aswan and be close enough to also visit Abu Simbel!

It's a decent new hotel with clean facilities, and quite hotel. The staff are very polite, smiling and very helpful, I thank the reception team for everything, really all of you were wonderful. There is a hotel car and sometimes a mini bus that transported us to and from the hotel and its available at all times. I recommended this hotel, and will visit it again. Thank you again

This hotel was definitely a step up from Pyramisa Isis Island, which was the worst place I have ever stayed in my life. The room was comfortable enough, the price was good, and there is a decent pool and a fabulous view of the Aswan Corniche. It was walking distance to the Nubian Museum and to the local McDonalds. As a tourist, you will get harassed constantly by the vendors as you walk, and it is very annoying. The food was not very good, but we found enough to eat. The shower was very weird and would go from unbelievably hot to cold. The worst part was that we were cheated by one of the male receptionists for a purchase at the Italian coffee shop in the lobby. He charged us 6 USD when the cost should have been under a dollar. Not a big deal for us to be charged 6 dollars for decent coffee, but it was the fact that he deliberately cheated us that really bothered me. I didn't throw a fit and let it go, and we just went to breakfast at McDonalds after that experience. The hotel lost money for that reason, as we certainly would have purchased many cups and coffee and pastries from them. Their loss. We also felt that one of their staff members was trying to scam us by asking (insisting) for change for a $20 US bill. The way he acted with us was very suspicious.

We stayed here in Aswan after a busy float up the Nile on a small felucca. The setting is serene a ways away from the hustle of the downtown. The layout of the hotel with individual cabanas is very spacious. The rooms are a good size each with its own patio. The decor a nice mix of modern and traditional furniture. The beds are comfy. The food in the restaurant is very good and the service very kind and respectful. We were near the end of our trip, had seen many temples and sites and really needed this peaceful oasis.

I really loved this hotel. The view from my room (5th floor) over Aswan, the cataract, Elephantine Island, Aga Khan monument, was breathtaking. As the hotel is on a hill, I cannot imagine any other hotel offering views like that. The rooms are very clean, though a bit dated, and large, with a balcony. Very generous outdoor grounds, nice swimming pool and a perfect breakfast buffet. Nice little shopping center with very good prices for souvenirs. All in all - a hotel I would like to return to.
Nub Inn

Amazing stay with great accommodations and great service with outstanding crew!!! We booked this hotel last minute for a big family and friends group, and from the first phone call with Shaimaa and Trivina they set an excellent standard for our stay!! This place is directly on the river nile with rooms that have nile views and others that dont. The rooms were very clean and the staff were so helpful, smiling and went above and beyond to serve all our needs. The place has an outstanding spacious terrace with breathtaking views and very easy access to the nile to take boats and do lots of activities. The Nubian village is a great place for a mixture of relaxation, adventure and sight seeing!! We requested a full board stay and the food was so delicious and fresh!! They always checked with us what we wanted on the menu and did even more than what we requested and it was always yummy!! The place a a Nubian local market that is less than a 5 min walk that has plenty of places to buy souvenirs and gifts. Because it was a last minute reservation, we did not have anything preplanned, but we ended up doing so much activities with the help of the hotel management who helped arrange everything we needed when we needed it and gave us great advice and ideas!! Ine of the best parts was when the hotel management arranged a Nubian party for us one night and we had a blast!!! Truly this place is outstanding and we highly recommend it for all ages and all types of activities!
