this hotel is good, clean , and tidy , good service , onsen is recommended the location has beautiful view but a bit not convenient, need to take the shuttle bus to get there.

Amazing experience! We got picked up at Atami Station in a free shuttle. The Hotel is located on a cliff, with stunning views of both the ocean and the city. The Hotel has a very interesting design, it looks kind of old fashioned but in a grand, fun way. We stayed in a Japanese style room, was fine. The 3 separate onsen baths were amazing. Great views, Sauna was good too. Food was a buffet, but it was freshly made and high quality. We were very happy with the hotel and would definitely recommend it

This hotel is old like 60 old if it was 1960 is a 5 star hotel!! But is a very big hotel but room need to upgrade.

The outdoor onsens were stunning but very busy. Free beverages until 5pm. The 2 annex buildings are connected so you don’t have to walk outside. The hotel is very grand. Unfortunately our room was right next to the elevator so I got woken up by elevator noise from 5am and couldnt fall asleep again because of the heavy use of the elevators. Rooms had stunning views of cliffs and the sea

This is my second time staying at the New Akao Hotel. The first time was in the new building. This time I stayed in the old building and chose a Western + Japanese style room. Overall, I prefer the new building 😊

The hotel is large and the waiters are young and can communicate in English. Although the location is far from Atami Station and there are no other restaurants nearby, there is a connecting minibus. The sea view room has a good view and the facilities are slightly old. 

The window overlooks the sea and you can hear the tide. You can see the moon and sunrise. There is a unique view in the store that non-guests can't see. You can make additional reservations for diving and water activities. You can also go fishing. P.S. There are safety rails on the windows that can be used as handrails.

The Ocean Building of the hotel is a very old room. It is not old, but ancient. The hygiene is OK, but it is really hard to describe the tatami when sleeping. The hotel has three very good hot springs. The first floor of the Ocean Building is at sea level. You can't see anything but you can hear the sound of waves hitting the reefs. The hot spring on the 15th floor of the Ocean Building has a very good view. It is on the cliff. If you can only soak in one time, I recommend this one. The hot spring on the third floor of the new building is seawater indoors, and the outdoor scenery is also OK. The hotel buffet is required because it is a bit far from the city.

An old five-star hot spring resort hotel with beautiful rooms with full sea views. There are three large bathing areas in the hotel, one of which has an open-air hot spring with sea views, which is very beautiful. We bought a buffet dinner, the restaurant is super large, luxuriously decorated, and has a lot of dishes. It was a very good stay experience.

The room is old. The hotel is divided into two parts. Ocean Wing is the old guest room, not newly built in 2022. This should be stated in the introduction. The sewer in the room is not smooth. The young receptionist at night has poor English. The other older man has a cold and arrogant attitude. The facilities in the room are very poor. Even the water bottle is leaking. The bathroom is very small and the elevator is small and slow. I will not go to this hotel again.
