Hyatt Place Athens/Downtown

Great consistent stay close to everything.

Came to Athens for a wedding. Booked my rooms through the wedding party discount code and was charged double the price. Reached out to hotel and no one calls back or reaches back out after multiple calls. Disappointing after we had such a great weekend with family and friends.

The hotel is right downtown and close to restaurants and entertainment.

This property is nice. It’s quite. My favorite thing was the restaurant and bar downstairs. After a long day at a convention, I did not want to leave the hotel. The food was really good and the cocktails exactly what I neeeded.

The staff were welcoming and personable, very helpful and accommodating. The server at the in house restaurant along with the chef and server at breakfast were terrific. The decor inside the hotel was appealing and clean. My daughter and I worked out in the gym and it overlooks the street into downtown Athens, was very nice and offered a good variety of equipment and weights. It is a wonderful spot to stay especially if you want to be in walking distance of great shops and restaurants. The breakfast spread was impressive and delicious. Our group along with other patrons were able to enjoy our coffee while seeing the runners who were participating in the Marathon go right by us. Very comfortable setting. Beds were great and the rooms were well laid out. Wish I had gotten names of the staff so I could give them the honor they deserve. Will definitely stay here again.

Outstanding hotel. I really enjoyed my stay here. It would actually have been nice to stay another night. Very enjoyable getaway and a wonderful room with a beautiful view over the city of Athens. Staff was pleasant. Lobby was pleasant. I'll be back for sure.
