Annex rooms are bad. Old, smell bad, not cleaned well at all. Staff not willing to allow room change despite availability

I had a very disappointing experience at the Best Western in Athens, TX. During my stay there was no hot water, the television in the room did not work and the breakfast provided was cold. The property itself also felt run down and not well maintained, which added to the overall negative experience. I reported these issues to management three separate times and never received any follow-up or resolution. Due to the lack of response and basic amenities not being functional, I ultimately checked out early and moved to another hotel nearby. The lack of communication and customer service was extremely frustrating. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will never stay at a Best Western location again or recommend it to others.

Made it there. The hotel was gross and extremely overpriced but the weather forecast forced me to leave same day. Still go charged over $400. Hotel was a complete dump.

Broc was extremely professional and had excellent customer service. He also was very educated about the area and gave many dining suggestions. We went to one and it didn’t disappoint. When back in the area, we will stay here.

For the cost, the room was not that clean, the furniture was outdated and not comfortable especially the bed. The amenities were lacking.
