My husband and I were very pleased by their spacious, beautiful room, great service, wonderful breakfast, and great location. Made our first 2 nights in Athens so enjoyable. The street to the hotel was not too easy to walk some part and you need ear plugs for a good night sleep but I hear that that is the case almost anywhere in Greece (they're party people). Highly recommend and we'll return there happily.

Clean, friendly, lovely hotel in an excellent Athens location. Excellent breakfast with a view to the Acropolis , we could never finish the amount of food served. Soo good! Staff super friendly, gave us excellent tips and anticipated our needs.

If we return to Athens we will book this hotel. Absolutely perfect. Very professional attentive staff. Alex in the restaurant, Helen on reception (and her male colleague on reception ) made the stay all the more special. Very high standard of accommodation and food. Thank you all. x

Fantastic boutique hotel located at the bottom of Acropolis hill. Superb location within walking distance of ancient and Roman Agora, Plaka neighborhood, and of course Acropolis. Room we got was so spacious with a double bed and additional two beds in a loft. Shower in the bathroom gets and extra mention with jets for head, body and legs 😀. Hotel staff was fantastic and so friendly. Has to mention Elena who was so helpful and friendly with all our requests. Our booking included a free breakfast which I can tell you is one of the best free breakfasts I have had anywhere in the world. Did the dinner at rooftop restaurant one night and in my opinion not really worth the price though the staff was very nice.

We recently spent three nights here and found the location, the room, the friendly staff and the food to be excellent. The breakfast was always delicious and cooked personally for us. The room was spotless and felt new. We were just a few minutes away from many of the temples of Athens and everything was within easy walking distance. The staff could not have been more helpful before or during our stay. Thank you!

Highly recommended. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Plaka and the ancient sites. On arrival greeted by Thanasis who offered us all a drink. Check in was efficient and professional. We stayed in room 203 which is a family room. Double bed downstairs and 2 beds for the children in the loft. One bathroom with an amazing shower head. You have multiple options and directions for the streams of water. The bathroom was clean and new. There was a balcony that gave you a limited view of the street. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast on the rooftop gave you an unobstructed view of the Acropolis. Ilias and Alexandros were eager to serve you in the morning, discuss geopolitics and give you advice on things to see or eat. I asked for hot chocolate one morning which they did not have. The next day they had it for me. Their attention to detail and hospitality was appreciated. Dinner at the restaurant was just as pleasant. I can not speak any more highly of all the staff we came into contact with, Eleni, Giorgos, Aldo and Nikos. Thank you for looking after myself and my family so well. We appreciated your attention and earnestness to assist us. Well done management on the people you hire and the quality of your hotel. We have stayed at the Grand Bretagne and Electra Palace in Athens and I have to stay your hospitality was the best.

We were fortunate that we found this small boutique hotel on our return from Cyprus. We’d stayed on our April arrival at a hotel a short distance away, but the price had jumped considerably in May, so I searched and found the MiraMe. Lucky me, is what it should be called! The flight back to ATH from Cyprus was a bit late, so we didn’t have a long wait to transfer to our room. The most marvelous Eleni was our first indication of the quality of this establishment. She took us into the bar area and explained the breakfast menu, signed us in and gave us our key card. We headed up and she followed with our bags. It’s not a huge elevator, hence the second trip. Once in the stunning room, #102, Eleni explained how things worked, showed us everything we’d need and told us to ask if we required anything. MiraMe owners, if you’re reading this, the first impression we got was wonderful. Keep her if you can. In fact, all the people we met that worked in the hotel were great. Now, the breakfast; I usually prefer to serve myself at breakfast, which is my favorite start to a long day, but the quality of the offerings and the service made this one an exception. We’d made our choices the afternoon before, but had no idea of what to expect. If you stay here, expect the best. It’s unlikely you’ll be hungry at lunch! Unfortunately, we had an early airport transfer and missed the second morning. They fixed a packed breakfast, even though we didn’t request one. Service, from beginning to the time you stroll out the door to your next destination. Lastly, they gave us the address of a testing facility to perform our COVID test for our return home. I sincerely hope that when someone reads this in the future that it’s a distant memory, and they have to Google “COVID” to see what I’m referring to! It was a cheap and rapid test. For you ice cream lovers, there’s a shop across the street from the hotel! The Acropolis and the Agora are easily reached in two ways from the hotel entrance: left towards Monastiraki Square, the busy way, and the less busy, right out of the front door and a left at the square that’s close by. That’s a suggestion from Eleni! Stay here if you can!

Great overnight stay at the MiraMe. Gorgeous street-front room with super-high ceilings and a terrace with a cafe table and chairs, a great perch from which to watch the world go by. Spotless. Best bathroom of our trip -- with a multi-function shower we wish we had taken a picture of. Dinner on the rooftop -- excellent food with top-shelf service and presentation. (Had a great conversation about Athens history with our waiter!) Breakfast upstairs in the morning -- the egg dish ordered ahead, accompanied by a platter of breads, spreads, and fruit. Fun location for shopping and sight seeing. Just excellent.
