Staff are very nice and friendly, the rooftop and food was great.
BUT, the noise was a disaster. Ik could hear the train, motorcycles like I was slaaping outside, the bed was squeezing very hard with the smalles move that I made. I could hear my neighbors argue. There where schools there and the nois was just way horrable. every night I had to go to the reception to complain and I was nog the only one.
Also the hotel was located in the Ghetto, so look out for that. I don't understand how this is a 4 star hotel.
Sadly I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone, off all my trips this was my worst hotel experience ever.

Hotel is going through some renovation and for 3 out of 4 days there have been horrible construction noises that didn’t allow us to rest and enjoy our time. Windows are not soundproof and hotel is located near by busy road, so sleeping was possible only with earplugs.

This building is not sound proof and one can hear noises from outside, near by balconies upper floors etc. It also has a very strong embedded smoke smell in the rooms. It’s awful!

Hotel hat seine besten Jahre hinter sich. Möbel und Einrichtung sind verschlissen. Es versprüht den Charme der 70er Jahre. Das Personal ist freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist super. Es wird täglich geputzt und aufgeräumt. Die Gegend ist nicht die beste. Man sollte in Athen grundsätzlich nicht die Touristenpfade verlassen. Insgesamt eine Empfehlung für den Preis.

Poor hotel. Unfriendly staff. Very dated hotel in need of modernisation. Slow lifts. Breakfast was ok. Rooftop terrace was nice with good views and pool. Uncomfortable beds. Lousy night sleep due to bed and also being on the side of the hotel where there is super busy road with traffic all night. Expensive for what it is

Overall comfortable. We were part of a trip for Spring Break and found the rooms to be comfortable but the service to be good. It is a good walk to some of the more popular sites but the rooftop made it worth it to enjoy the cool Athens evenings in March.

Huge shout out to Candia Hotel! My son was on a school field trip from the USA and left his airpods behind. I callled from the States and they found the pods and worked with me to return them to him at school! Thank you so much! There are good people in the world still! He loved staying at your beautiful hotel.
