This hotel is qualified in every aspect! The score is not high but the charges are relatively cheap and the price/performance ratio is good!

Great budget hotel - about half the price of similar in the area. Clean room, even if it is fairly small. Had all the necessities, and the staff was very helpful and courteous. Very good location next to the train station, the subway (red line) and a taxi stand. The area is pretty safe as well. Will be coming back.

I stay in Athens regularly for business. I came across this little gem last week. What a great find. 50m from the metro, very clean and tidy. The lady on reception was happy and helpful. The room was super comfortable and clean. There is an amazing roof top bar with great views over the city and the lady was super nice and had good conversations. I will definitely be back soon. Thanks Geoff 👍 😊

Friendly reception, safe atmosphere where the hotel entrance opens only with ur card or from reception. View is amazing from rooms and from the rooftop breakfast area. Clear and convenient. Metro and train station only a few feet away

I had a wonderful stay at Ariston. My first time in Athens, the staff here was very helpful. Overall clean and tidy rooms, impeccable bathroom. Regarding the reception, attentive and enlightening, they did speak a little bit of English, but with some difficulty in interpreting. The roof-deck has a beautiful view of athens and sunset! Very close to the metro and a safe area. I will definitely come back again!

Awful hotel, awful service, to be avoided. The receptionist could not explain in plain English why he did not charge a second card provided. He just cancelled the reservation and gave our room to someone else at the indication of his manager. Amazing!

We stayed there for 3 nights. Hotel very well located to reach on foot the districts close to the Acropolis. The restaurant is on the top floor with a clear view. Very good value for money. Staff at reception and in the restaurant very attentive. Very good stay. I recommend!

The great convenience of this hotel is its proximity to the Larissas metro station. In addition to having a 24-hour reception. The room we were given was quite clean and spacious, perhaps the furniture was a little dated. The two separate beds were comfortable; excellent supply of towels and sheets. Surprise of surprises: we found a mini fridge, which proved to be a precious ally in fighting the Athenian heat; in this titanic struggle the air conditioning collaborated, which fully did its job in an Athens scorching with temperatures of over 40 degrees! The wi-fi (miracle) worked perfectly. The terrace with chairs and a table was very nice, which unfortunately we were unable to enjoy due to the strong heat. The only negative note? It could be the shower still with the curtain! The reception staff spoke English, so they were able to assist us and also provide us with tourist information. By the way, there was a noticeboard at the reception, stocked with brochures advertising locations and events. One last funny thing: the entrance stairs are quite steep, on the left side there is a platform for wheelchairs. Well, I'm still wondering how it is possible to use it due to the excessive steepness of the descent!

The Hotel Ariston is the classic city hotel located near a station. The hotel's location a few meters from a metro stop that quickly takes you to the Acropili and the 24-hour reception are the strong points of this hotel. On the other hand, the structure is rather dated (for example shower in the tub closed by a curtain...), not particularly clean (for example breakfast sofas stained and with shoe prints), finally the breakfast is not very good ( apart from Greek yogurt): fruit juices and industrial jams, a horrid cappuccino machine, and so on...

I booked this hotel because it is right opposite the bus departures for the Meteores. Very convenient for returning late in the evening at 11 p.m. The room is clean, even if the furniture and floor are old they are in good condition. The beds are not super comfortable, we didn't have a duvet but just a sheet with a bedspread. It wasn't cold but I missed a duvet, it would have been nice to have it stored in the cupboard just in case. The small fridge made a lot of noise, the soundproofing is poor. We could hear the cars passing as if the window was open. We still slept pretty well. It's good for one night.

Hotel near the Larissa station, has a 24-hour reception, rooms with a terrace facing the street, adequate size. Adequate quality-price ratio. Away from tourist sites but very close to the metro station and bus stops. There are supermarkets nearby.
