Great location and nice staff but overpriced. Towels are not soft at all, the room on the first floor smells humidity. Rooms on second floor with Acropolis view are better. Breakfast is late (8am) so you cannot enjoy it if you have a ferry.

The room is special, the staircase turns and is clean and tidy. The garden on the top of the building is great, with a beautiful day and night view of the Acropolis. Special mention to the wonderful breakfast which was excellent

Stayed twice within a week while transiting through Athens. Staff very helpful and chatty. The room facing the Acropolis was great. Very clean and well presented. Our earlier stay in another room windowed onto a central atrium and until I complained about the noise staff were making at 02:15 we couldn’t sleep. They accepted this with grace. Very central. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for three nights in December. We wished we had stayed longer. We put a lot of effort into where we stayed in Athens. We looked for a great location, good room, excellent service and a great breakfast. Zillers ticked every box. We loved our stay here. Zillers is a boutique hotel in a fantastic location - it is near the historic sites of Plaka and beyond, and it is close to lots of restaurants. Our room (302) had a fantastic view of the Acropolis. We also liked how the hotel overlooks a square, so there is a sense of space in the inner city. The people running the hotel were so super helpful and friendly. They were great giving us advice for how to get to the Opera (and arranged a great taxi), and on lots of other things. The welcome petit fours (from their Michelin star restaurant) were delicious. We were very happy with the excellent driver they arranged to collect us from the airport (it was great meeting him on arrival). It was also great staying in a building with such an historic important heritage connection - we saw some Ziller architecture in other parts of Greece. Breakfasts deserve special mention. We are foodies, and these breakfasts were exceptionally good, and served in their Michelin restaurant area with wonderful views overlooking the Square and Acropolis. Breakfast was outstanding. Everything was super fresh, and the most delicious breads, yoghurts, cheeses and so much more. We loved ordering off the menu in addition to the outstanding spread provided and the food (lots of different types of omelettes and other dishes. Our coffees (cappucinos, lattes, expressos) etc were excellent. The service was welcoming, friendly, helpful and top notch. This was a Michelin Star experience. A further bonus was that we could have a wine in the evening in the rooftop area, with its excellent wine list and really helpful sommelier and team. It was a lovely way to end a busy day. We had read the reviews mentioning some bells and noise. We had no issue at all with the very minor tiny tinkling of bells (which was during daytime). There was no other noise. There was completely no issue. Next time we will stay at Zillers for longer.

We highly recommend this hotel. All staff were extremely helpful. They arranged transportation and excursions for us and even brought dessert to our room on the last evening of our stay. Breakfast in the rooftop garden is included, with many options. Great service and spectacular views of the Acropolis. This hotel is in the Plaka and we could easily walk to the Acropolis and the Agora.

This is a gorgeous hotel with beautifully appointed rooms, charming staff who cannot do enough for you and has a fabulous location with spectacular views of the Parthenon. The roof-top bar is a lovely location for drinks and eating even if you are not staying in the hotel.
