Lovely service. Someone always at reception to answer any questions one might have. We were too tired to get the morning breakfast but if it is not included in your stay you can purchase it for 12.50 each.

Dear management team and staff My daughter had her communion on the 11th of may in the Lovely lodge. The food was delicious and staff were extremely friendly and pleasant they are an incredible team. Its was very busy with the kids and Families everyone was very nice and friendly well done. Thank you so very much Aoife nolan

My wife and I were taking our 6th trip to Ireland, and celebrating our 30th anniversary. This hotel is very much a non-chain, local, Irish hotel. If you’re up for that, it’s 5 stars to us! We stayed two nights as we were starting our trip to get acclimated to the time change and see a town (Athlone) that’s off the tourist path. We really enjoyed our time in the town and at the hotel! Great breakfast, got upgraded to the Prince Grace Suite. :) And we were close to a couple distilleries. Also, Athlone has some great shops and restaurants we enjoyed.

Tutto perfetto in questo meraviglioso hotel immerso nel verde e nella pace assoluta. Camera spaziosa, pulita e provvista di ogni confort. Ci hanno fatto anche trovare un ferro da stiro visto che eravamo lì per un matrimonio. Letti comodissimi, colazione ottima e personale gentilissimo. Ci tornerei e lo consiglio vivamente

From the moment we arrived at the Shamrock Lodge, we knew we were in for a special day. The wedding was orchestrated brilliantly by Raj, whose attention to detail and dedication to creating a memorable experience was evident throughout the event. A special shoutout goes to Kayla, who served our table with such care and attention. Her professionalism added a personal touch that made our experience even more enjoyable. The food was great, but the desserts deserve a special mention. The venue itself is stunning, providing the perfect backdrop for a beautiful celebration. The wonderful team at the Shamrock Lodge ensured that every aspect of the wedding ran smoothly, making it a seamless and stress-free experience for all the guests.

Attended the Shamrock Lodge today for an event and had the most awful food served to us. €15 for a plate of carvery which included uncooked cabbage and turnip! It would actually be more of an effort to make such a mess of a simple carvery than to just make sure all the food is at least not raw and is cooked through. A horrible experience, made to feel so unwelcome and a nuisance when I gave feedback to a staff member. Instead he turned to a passing guest and demanded off him ‘Did you enjoy that’, To try to undermine my complaint. Horrible so called Customer Service.

The Shamrock lodge was a beautiful place to stay. Our room was clean and equipped with all that we needed, and the customer service was incredible. The lodge is also a short walk from the city center, so we were able to easily enjoy all that Athlone had to offer! The spay next door to the lodge was a lovely experience as well, the ladies gave us the best massages and were an absolute joy!

Lovely family friendly hotel at a great price. No complaints. Family of five stayed a night comfortable beds and room. Bathroom a little dated but clean and does the job. Usual breakfast offerings. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will be back. Great value for money
