AC Hotel Atlanta Buckhead at Phipps Plaza
4.5/5100 Reviews
I stayed here for one night on a quick weekend in Atlanta. We wanted to be close to shopping and food options while in town so this place seemed perfect. It's VERY close to Phipps Plaza...like pretty much connected. The hotel actually shares it's parking with the shopping plaza so it's definitely close. There's quite a few food options in the area too. The sleep quality was good- beds were comfy, room atmosphere was nice- as was the hotel overall. The hotel was clean, it even smelled clean, and was sleek and modern. It fit in well with the the ”upscale” feel of Buckhead and we enjoyed it. We'd stay again.

The hotel is very nice. The opportunity was upon checking in at the hotel at between 8:30pm - 9:30pm the female was not friendly at all. She was very abrupt in speaking. As a Platinum Elite when I asked about points she told me that I would not get points for my stay. Also, at approximately 4am in the morning, someone was trying to get Into our room, when my boyfriend went to the door to tell the female who appeared to be drunk she just keep insisting for him to open the door. I called down to the Front Desk to let them know and whoever it was that worked that shift came upstairs to get that person. I am a Corporate person who travels 99% for my job and Marriott hotels are our company Preferred hotel. As I stated the rooms are very nice inside, I now will have to travel to Atlanta now for business due to it now being my territory, but I am reluctant in choosing this hotel due to the check-in experience. But, I can say that my check-out experience was much better from your front desk guy this morning.

We spent the night here just to be closer to the airport, to catch an early flight. I am quite surprised at a few of the most recent reviews. We found the room very modern and quite comfortable. The young man was extremely polite, helpful, and just a good presence about him. I encourage everyone to read the lower reviews. Who cares if you pay $3 for a delivery? Don't start off boasting about being a huge traveler and then get worked up.abot 3 dang dollars! Hotels always put a hold on your credit card for incidentals. It is the cc company that determines the length, not the hotel, and 100 dollars isn't that extreme. Have you seen what ppl do to some of these rooms??? Now I will agree that the walls did seem a little ”thin”, but again for me it's just mot a big deal, the parking deck confused me for a minute, but I mean like literally a minute, just pay attention when you come in and make note, so you can just do the same thing in reverse! Overall, there is zero doubt I would stay here again!
