Residence Inn Atlanta Midtown/Peachtree at 17th

The male front desk staff wasn’t nice or helpful, both female front desk staffs are very warm. Bathroom has sewer smell. I already unpacked, otherwise I would ask for a different room.

The stay was wonderfull and great the staff was friendly wish my family would of stay longer but  the trip was a one night trip  definitely next time we will come again.

The hotel was clean and it was within walking distance to Colony Square and the Arts museum. Breakfast was nice. Staff was friendly.

This hotel seems more like a luxury hotel in my experience. The lobby smells so fresh and everything looked new and clean. The front desk staff greeted us and advised in some places we could grab a bite to eat. This hotel has complimentary breakfast and valet. One mine from Piedmont Park and 2 miles from the World of Coca Cola.

The stay at residence inn midtown has been great. The entire staff is excellent, but this review is a highlight for Marquel (valet at PCM). He’s always professional, personable and timely. Sending kudos to Marquel!!!

Overcharged for parking and the hotel (and Marriott) provided little help to resolve the charge. I booked a room with valet parking included in my room rate and was also charged by the valet parking vendor. Thus, I would not recommend booking a room that includes valet parking.

We came here for a multigenerational family trip and ended up having an unexpected medical emergency. We couldn't have been more pleased with the helpful, supportive staff in this stressful time. Jernae and Rain in Valet services went above and beyond to help arrange our car as we were coming and going back and forth to the hospital. At the front desk, Blake, Andrey and Gina helped us with the ambulance and offering recommendations throughout the process. They all offered prayers and checked in again with us later. We couldn't have felt more supported by the staff during this scary time. We never thought we'd be in this situation but are grateful to such caring human beings in an unfamiliar city. Our 2 bedroom suite on the 6th floor was spacious and had fantastic views of the surrounding trees and neighborhood. There were enough cooking supplies to make a simple meal. Breakfast was standard for Residence Inns, the staff were helpful and supportive during our time there, too, especially Miss Kim. She made us feel welcome every morning like family. For dinners, we loved walking down to Colony Square for meals al fresco.

Honestly, was one of the worst hotel stays I have ever had with Marriott. Check-in seemed rushed after I had to wait 5 minutes for someone to show up at the desk. Then I discovered I did not have foam pillows as requested when I got to my room. I called the front desk and got no answer. Went downstairs after a third try, and waited 5 more minutes for someone to show up. They later delivered more Feather pillows to my room - not foam pillows. Wifi did not work either. Room was rundown, with chips on paint, dust on light fixtures, scratches on fabric chairs, broken chair legs, shelves pulling out from wall, and stains on the lampshade. And then I went to make coffee and the machine had not been cleaned out. I was wrapping up 3 weeks of business travel/15 nights in Marriott hotels, I am shocked that this hotel was under the Marriott brand. Submitted feedback through Marriott, said it would be forwarded to the hotel and never heard back. Sent follow up and got no response. Sad that Marriott could not be bothered to reply.
