Origin Atlanta, a Wyndham Hotel

My taxi driver to this hotel advised he had driven taxi's in Atlanta for 12 years and had never heard of this hotel. Entrance was uninviting and didn't appear to be a decent hotel. The building looked like an old office building in a deserted part of Atlanta. I arrived after dark and there was no one at entrance to greet guests in cars or guests on foot. I learned there are 2 entrances, both unattended and both unlocked, which caused me significant concern for safety of guests and staff. When I arrived at check-in I was advised my room would not be cleaned during my 4 day stay. Someone had attempted to design the lobby, although the florescent bright lobby lights ruined the appeal of the sofa and decor. The bathroom in my room boasted high quality shampoo & soap but the exposed naked concrete column and exposed concrete rafters overhead with old metal parts imbedded and exposed conveyed the owner didn't want to spend time or money to complete the buildout. Lights in room were too low to know if room was clean. This hotel completely lacked a typical ambiance for staff & guests and didn't feel safe at night; if there was security I didn't witness any during my 4 day visit. The $237 per night paid seemed high for a hotel that appeared more like a fin-for-yourself apt building retrofit from an old commercial building?

One room Rm#511 did have TV service.  Also, the bathroom non on the sink was very loose water was getting everywhere. However, I was then moved to rm#509. Moreover, despite of that a house keeper by the name of Jay was a tremendous help and host.  If I ever come there again, I desire to see him.

The room was not cleaned, even after it was requested by Phone. No mini fridge, no free water. Location was centralized, but if noise bothers you, then it would not be ideal.
