Dirty. This area of up north Michigan is beautiful and this whole hotel is just the worst area You can get so much better for your money. The workers look like they hate their lives. They tell you how cleaning only comes when you leave. They say they have breakfast, but it’s cereal and old milk. They have no security measure so anyone can walk through any door.

Bed was comfortable. Pillows were comfortable but if you have your favorite pillow bring it. Room was clean. Friendly guest service but if you can't hear well bring your friend to help you hear.

This is a great place to stay while in Oscoda. The hotel is not visible from the highway, so it may be overlooked as a place to stay. That makes it nice and quiet. Try it the next time you are in town

Good and clean for most part. Showing some age to the place. Comfortable bed. Some questionable stains on sheets. Quite location. They don't pay attention to special requests that you submit for pre check-in or any of that stuff. Still will ask for card even if you do pre check-in.

The room was clean and very large which was nice but we booked for 5 people and were told they don’t have rollaway beds and with no couch in the room that was inconvenient and uncomfortable. We made it work but would choose a different hotel next time.
There was also a large group staying there which was fine except the parking lot is small and was nearly full. So at capacity I don’t know how you’d park.
The hotel is also off more of a back road so the canal is walkable but there’s really no view of anything.
Continental breakfast was fine, standard foods.

Apparently the hotel allows a company to park their vehicles in the hotel parking lot leaving guests to hunt for an empty spot.

I’d stay here again. Location is fair but it’s not a very walkable location. Plan to drive when going anywhere.

From our pre-arrival registration to the swift and friendly check-in, we were impressed with the welcome. The care of this hotel taken by the staff is evident by the high level of cleanliness aĺl around. We look forward to our next visit.

Definitely wasn’t the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed. We had weevils that got in constantly. Which isn’t terrible but definitely creepy. Staff underwhelming. Had breakfast made in a microwave. At least they had breakfast.
