Quest Auckland Serviced Apartments

The room was clean and the customer service was good. The room was as we expected it to be nothing too fancy but it had all that we needed. I would’ve liked if there were coffee cups adjacent to the coffee machine in the foyer.

We arrived late and they had a process in place for late check in to the premises. The hotel was clean and quiet despite being close to the city.

Hotel room was a good size with all the amenities that are necessary,such as cutlery, crockery, electric jug, cook top, microwave etc. Also washer and dryer in bathroom. However room itself needs some love. It was clean but in the bathroom the shower door didn't shut properly The mirror on the back of the bathroom door had a piece broken off the bottom. The extractor fan in the bathroom did not work. The seals around the wardrobe door starting to come off. Service at check in was great, and the air conditioner was nice to have. Overall a good stay, handy to everything, use the Citibus link to get up and down Queen St if don;t want to walk.

Great location, easy walking water front and some resturants. Staff was very friendly and accommodating with check in and questions. Chrcked in was early, around 9am.

Needed an update in the room. Skirting boards & part of the walls needed cleaning & repainting. Some dust around. Beds very comfortable. Lobby nicely done.

Quest Highbrook is a nice property, it’s an A grade AirBnb … yes Bed quality is outstanding and 5 star and breakfast is absent. But I won’t recommend for short time visits. Especially to arrive on a weekend, importantly if you are first timer in Auckland and within that if you are an Asian and used to 5 star hotel services .. you will be in a shocking surprise .. I was welcomed by a text in a colleagues phone to collect my key from a safe box with a code …. Highbrook is a corporate / industrial part of Auckland and high is a concrete jungle with absolute absence of anything on weekend. If you arrive past 7 PM on a weekend night plan to go to bed fasting. There isn’t anything / anywhere where you can get somethjng. Once you are in the room, quality is good with full facilities of a serviced apartment. Property doesn’t have a gym, but adjacent to a 24/7 gym next door for a charge. Property doesn’t offer breakfast services and depend on a deli next door that works office hours you can order a breakfast for NZD 15 and you see what you get as I pasted a photo ( plus couple of bread slices. Cheese and bacon) small milk, juice tetrapacks. It will cost NZD 200 but we also have four points hotel that does NZD 234 with breakfast. Gym Services and actually people manning desks and helping. Property is good for long term stay. As it’s a serviced apartment. Question is at NZD 200 a day is it value for money.
