It's a short 15 minute walk from the bus stop. The rooms and common areas are clean and give a good impression. The staff were also kind and polite.

It was clean and nice. My biggest worry was the bathroom, but it was very clean. The location is good for taking the bus, and the price is less than 50,000 won for a single room. Recommended for solo travelers.

This is my first time traveling alone to New Zealand, and my first time to Auckland, New Zealand. I looked at many hotels online but didn’t book them in advance. I also looked at the (YMCA) hostel in Auckland, but when I saw a lot of bad reviews, I didn’t book. I boldly booked a bed on the second day after arriving in Auckland. It was a great experience. It is the first choice for young people or friends who want to save travel expenses. It is economical and the environment is very good. There are bathrooms and toilets shared exclusively for women, as well as a shared kitchen and activity room. Special thanks go to Joyce, the girl at the front desk. She is very patient. You can ask her any questions. Her service attitude is good and she does not make mistakes. It is recommended that all the guests staying here come to her for check-in and other matters. Another time, when it came to luggage storage, a front desk guy was really bad at his job and couldn't explain clearly. The key deposit actually told me the room fee. I was surprised. I was surprised that the hotel reservation I made on Ctrip was also false. I had already paid for the hotel reservation. Fortunately, I met Monica at the hotel. She is a very nice Chinese person and was very kind to help explain. Only to avoid a huge misunderstanding. It is recommended that the hotel improve the level of front desk service, and I am very grateful to these two beauties, Joyce and Monica. They are very familiar with the work process and have a very good service attitude. I just stayed in this hotel for 3 more nights. I plan to bring my family and four friends to Auckland, New Zealand in 2024. Since I already have travel experience, I chose YMCA Hostel as my first choice. 80% of it is due to the service attitude and professional proficiency of Joyce and Monica. In the future, I will also recommend friends who are traveling to New Zealand to stay at this hotel. It is really good.
