An absolutely perfect experience! It felt just like being back home. The management and service were impeccable. A perfect choice for a trip to Auckland, and Albany truly lives up to its reputation as the Chinese hub.

The hotel is very clean and quiet, and there's paid parking available. There's an Asian supermarket right across the street, and two large supermarkets are just a ten-minute walk away. Plenty of dining options nearby, too. It's about ten kilometers from the city center.

We booked this hotel as we wanted to be north of Auckland as we’re planing a day trip up to The Bay of Islands. The room was very comfortable with all the amenities with in the room. Fully equipped bathroom, coffee machine, kettle & a big size fridge so we were able to store food we had bought.
No restaurant on site, tho excellent authentic Chinese restaurant across from the hotel. Also other variety of bars & restaurants within 5 - 10 min walk depending on what your preference.
We were very close to State highway 1, to head north & explore the area as we wanted to.

Elegant, spacious, comfortable and quiet.
Will definitely be back, it will be our go to from now on and will book into the spa next time

The hotel service was absolutely terrible. My child got some play-doh stuck on the carpet, which could easily have been cleaned with water, but they slapped me with a ridiculous NZD 200 charge. I stayed for half a month, and when I asked for a late check-out on the last day, they flat-out refused. It's owned by Chinese people, and being Chinese myself, I'm shocked by their complete lack of empathy in a foreign country. I strongly advise anyone traveling with kids who expects any kind of service to avoid this place. Unless you don't mind being ripped off by the hotel and just need a bed, then maybe consider this hotel.

It’s a really new hotel comes with air bnb facilities like wash & dry machine, cooking utensils, stove, microwave, dishwasher and oven etc which is super good for a family /friends after a long trip and need to wash some clothes, the only defect is the water pot is too dirty to use but complimentary waters are available in the fridge. However, location wise is a bit far from central, it takes 45mins to reach the airport or 18mins to reach central. Surroundings have a big grocery and a Chinese restaurant Sum Made of which the food are taste really good and the portions are bigger than we used to have in Mel.

Clean and decently sized room for a short stay. The bathroom is a good size with both a handheld and rain shower head.
Good quality wifi and has a deal with the Chinese restaurant next door for “half portions”, meaning you can order more food options.
Approx 5-10 minutes walk to the Albany bus station with express busses to Auckland CBD (NX1). There are restaurants within walking distance, and a bus (longer walk) to Albany mall.
Overall a great hotel, would stay again.
