Traveling with family, an apartment was more convenient. As long as your expectations aren't too high, Imperial Apartments definitely offer good value for money. It's actually student accommodation, so there are quite a few students around. It's near Queen Street, about a 20-minute walk, but it's uphill, which can be tiring. Downstairs, there's a home-style Chinese restaurant, a burger joint, and a small supermarket. The facilities are a bit old, and apparently, it's run by Chinese business people; all the front desk staff are Chinese, which made communication easy. Also, the mattress was soft, and the pillows were soft too, which I'm not really used to.

This studio apartment with cooking facilities was a great value and super clean. It's located right in the heart of Auckland, and you can easily get anywhere by public transport. I even cooked a few meals here over Christmas, which brought back memories of my time studying in the UK.

Great serviced apartment and value for money. Location a little bit further from the bustle, but close to public transport and Ubers are cheap if needed. the value for money is fantastic with perfect space for 6 people. Beds were comfortable but pillows were a bit flatter than what I am used to. shower had great pressure and temperature.

I used to stay at apartment part for student and when my mom come here I move to hotel part. I think it’s better than my previous room. Not bad clean and more quality. I love here cause it have a lot of foreign staff ex thai china korea. That’s why it’s very easy to solve problem when something happen. I love here but I hate a location cause it has to walk above a hill.

Very cheap, good for one day stay especially if you have to catch a flight the next day. Rooms were clean and tidy but don't expect any luxury 🙂
